I'm an OSU fag, and I kind of agree. He needs good coordinators to do the micromanagement, but he's an excellent "CEO level" figure to run the program. He can bring in talent, knows when to fire people, and most of all wins.
>>

Ryan Day is in the middle of his second full recruiting class. Most of the guys he recruited for the first time as HC left last year.
Urban Meyer squandered way more talent during his time as Ohio State's head coach. Him fumbling that 2015 team is unforgivable
>buh muh three natties!
Yeah, Ryan Day won his first during his sixth year as a HC, same as Urban, and is a genuine threat to repeat, something even Urban never did.

The Caribbean teams caught up and started taking advantage of their European trained diaspora which none of the central american national teams can match because their youth development is nonexistent and they have very few expats in Europe or in Brazil/Argentina down south. Costa Rica was the strongest team in the region and they havent come close to even replicating that late 2000s, early 2010s team.

And the reason why the Caribbean teams attracted more dual-nats this time around is because of the expanded world cup, meaning that more dual-nats were willing to play for their home countries because Concacrap qualifying is easier now than ever before.
>Suriname: Dutch mutts that are 3rd or 4th tier prospects, but trained in Eredivisie
>Curacao: Same as Suriname
>Jamaica: English 5th tier prospects + some solid players in Bailey and Antonio. However they are dysfunctional as fuck with players arguing amongst themselves and the Jamaica FA always fighting with the national team
>Haiti: French 5th tier prospects. The weakest in terms of talent but heavily outperformed every other Caribbean team in the qualifiers since they were arguably in a group of death with Honduras and Costa Rica.

Iceland last seen in 2018. Draw in opener v argies was alright. Lost to Croatia in last minute. Needed a win there to knock out an argie side in meltdown.
Their 2016 run was fun. Norway now have a better team than Iceland back then. Best shot for a similar run but Norway usually fail to upset better teams, Italy are trash, and often struggle against others. There's a reason they last qualified in the 90s. Great qualis this time round, helped by drawing a soft top seed in Italy and also got lucky with very weak teams from other pots.

this hasn't had any legs run yet, so if you put your 5 on now, you too can win 750 (or take out Brentford, Brighton, and Arsenal against Bournemouth - for a safer bet where 20 returns 500...)

Replace the table with a bar stool. Higher scores, fast-paced and now it's manly. Can also show more ads when ball goes out and people have to go look for it. There fixed your sport. America will lap it up.

Heading the ball and generally just banging into each other. What everyone is slowly coming to realize, despite it being published information for years, concussions aren't the problem. The problem is repeated hits to the head, any time your brain knocks into something it leads to CTE.
>>
cte is essentially unavoidable in any team based contact sport unless they go full softcock even by soccer standards.
>>
>>152687446
depends. if you're from a well-to-do family like the Mannings or other "football royalty" probably not

if you're from Liberty City, Miami or the middle of nowhere Alabama... and you can make generational wealth for your family, then 100% worth it.
> even like $5 million dollars which is insanely low for everyone in the NFL aside from kickers/punters, is crazy money
> average a very conservative 8% return on $5 million net via property/stock market, etc, that is $400k/year
smartest thing they could do is hire a real financial person to explain that to them and set their family up forever as that grows tons
> $2 million is even the "f*ck you" number
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XamC7-Pt8N0
>>
>>152720381
according to those CTE studies, anytime you bump your head into anything and the lights go out for even 0.00001s, you've done some form of damage.
> punching yourself in the face because you didn't win the horse girl gacha race and it causes you to blink... congrats, you've damaged your brain
