i have a question for my cycling frens. theres a public, paved bike pavement trail in my large city, no walkers, joggers, pets etc. mostly hobbyists, but you get some old people on mountain bikes as well as lance armstrong imitations. its about 20 feet wide and 3 miles long. anyway yesterday a group of lance armstrongs passed me in their full gear, single file formation, but did so only about 2 feet away on a 20 foot wide track, they were only going slightly faster than me despite having much nicer bike. im conflicted, how do i take this? were they dissing me by passing me so closely, or was it a sign of respect that they feel confident enough to get right up next to me frens?
