>Who the fuck cares about any other news this sport is dying fast with rivalries being forced abandoned and programs being swooped up by corporations because Jews who own private equity were pissed there was something followed they don't own and tricked you all with how "exploited" players were to lead to a system where their private equity firms will take control and make this into a NFL lite that will quickly lose all support when it can't compete to the real NFL

It sounds like this rivalry being canceled is mostly bitch ass behavior from Miami (OH), not the usual Semitic shenanigans
>Cincy has a winning streak vs Miami (OH) dating back to 2006, haven't lost this game at home since 2002
>Miami (OH) snaps both streaks last year with a road win
>they immediately ask to terminate the series, saying they need to sacrifice this ongoing home and home vs a Big 12 team to be able to schedule more payday games

That wouldn't surprise me if not for the fact that Northwestern once in a while has a break out season that nerd schools like Vandy can only dream about. And that's even with Vandy having done the James Franklin experiment where they let in thugs and rapists to win some extra games. But this is all guessing on my part, I actually don't know enough about Northwestern's policies around athletics and academics to make a definitive statement. If they never actually do bend and still are able to have those crazy seasons, even more glory to them.

Norfwestern only had breakout seasons because they were in a horrible division that somebody had to win, which is now a thing of the past. When they won their division in 2018 they still lost to Duke and Akron. West shitters won't stumble into seasons where they are better than at least 5 out of the following 6 teams: Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Oregon, USC and Washington.

Pedo State did Vandy a big favor hiring Franklin away because they were about to fire him. There was huge pressure on the administration to clean up the mess Franklin was making. Vandy people always cared more about image than about wins. You can't have players on the football team raping female students while saying its a form a reparations for slavery and then have the head coach try to cover it up. Well, not at Vandy anyway. Pedo State seems to think that type of coach is exactly what fits in at their school.

Do you want to see a team featuring one of your countrymen? Black universities often recruit Australian footy players to be kickers because almost no black kids grow up wanting to be a kicker so the schools have a difficult time finding any. Instead they recruit in Australia where the players don't know all that much about the US and what a HBCU is, they just know they're getting four years in the US for free.

My thoughts on random coaches who popped into my head. Tennessee fan if that matters or frames these thoughts:

PJ Fleck - biggest cheesedick I've ever seen. Would have to imagine that rah-rah shit really wears on the players if they hit a bad skid.

Kirby Smart - I actually really like Kirby. Seems like a normal guy. Think the media is going to try to chew him up and spit him out. It would help my team's prospects if they did that, but I fucking hate the media more than anything on earth.

Hugh Freeze - really good football coach. Will have Auburn punching even or above Alabama quickly.

Lane Kiffin - I'm kind of over his whole shtick. Needs to win something. If he doesn't he'll move on and reset the clock.

Ryan Day - He's an awkward as hell guy. He gets talent. Decent coach I guess, but he seems so unlikable to me.

Matt Rhule - I honestly think he can get Nebraska back to 10 win seasons. He's got a bit of awkwardness in him, but not the level as Day.

Brent Venables - Never liked this guy. 100% based on the fact he had a man assigned to keep him off the white line when he was a DC at Clemson. Such a cheesedick try hard move.

>BTW, I'm really a Tennessee fan. Honestly, truly I am.
LOL, we can see that you're a barner trying to hide his nut hugging of Freeze. Going to be funny when he ruins your program and gets you on probation while you deny ever having liked the guy, much less been his cum drinker for so long.
New Mexico State's ass whipping of your team was just the beginning of what Freeze has in store for you. Keep him long enough and Troy end up the second most popular team in Alabama by default.
>We've got the Winning Gene, er, Freeze Warning! We're going to surpass Alabama!
DeBoer probably is overrated and will find it difficult to shine in Saban's shadow but Auburn isn't going to come close to being Alabama any time soon. You barners are too obsessed with having a Saban-like savior come in with instant wins instead of building something strong over time. Freeze won at Ole Miss because he was cheating. He won at Liberty because he was playing against CUSA teams (and still couldn't beat NMSU with all of Auburn's resources). Your impatience and desire for instant results will continue to be your downfall. Freeze isn't a savior. He's a cheap dollar store knockoff of Gus Malzahn, which is funny because you fired that guy and now have a lesser version of him who is coated in filth.
>>
>>143103292
Joining the military is also a more popular route for that which means Hawaii loses many of its locally developed prospects that could have had an impact on the team.

Ryan Day is not a good football coach. He's average at best.
It's not hard to recruit at Ohio St after all the winning they've done, the money, the size of the school. and the state they're in.
He kept the exact same recruiting plan/schedule as Urban, not any of his doing, just boosters and other coaches at Ohio St, so they can beat the fuck out of Penn State and ten other teams every year then lose to Michigan
Literally any coach in the world can do what he does with the talent he is given. He runs Urban/Chip's offense with 5 star players, it's not rocket science
Look at his resume before Ohio State. There is nothing on there that makes you think he's qualified for the job he has.
The best thing he's done is not rock the boat too much. They still win most of the games they should, which is a compliment, but they underachieve in all reality and he's a cardboard cutout

33-6 the last 3 years and his best win was vs. Utah in the Rose Bowl. He's lost every important game since COVID and it's certainly not a talent issue. They will chase him out of Columbus with torches and pitchforks if he loses to Michigan this year.

It's becoming impossible for schools to keep up in college football, even Big 10 schools like Washington can't keep up with others like Ohio State
No one wants to admit it, but these schools can't stay on the same tier. The only end conclusion is a new league is made with pro/reg from the top P2/top 12-16 schools, and people can deny but that's what's going to happen

Ohio State will lose to Michigan again but still will get into the playoff as an at-large team. After the lose in the first round, Day will be fired. Meanwhile Brother Freeze will shock the world by taking his team into the quarter finals before losing to a school with more depth as he hasn't yet been able to completely turn over the roster of debris from the previous coach. That won't matter because Ohio State will come calling, seeing what lies ahead for Brother Freeze. Auburn will try to outbid Ohio State but fail. Plus Brother Freeze wants to coach where he's wanted and too many Auburn fans aren't Christian enough to forgive a former sinner and see his redemption arc.

Imagine you're one of the football "hostesses" at Alabama who let him fuck her only for him to defect to Auburn. You wonder what's wrong with your pussy. Did some Auburn skank out freak you in bed? You make it your mission to use the power of your pussy to get him back for your team. Meanwhile there's the hostesses over at Auburn thinking the exact same thing. The kid probably fucked more college girls before his high school graduation than must guys do their entire four years at college.

Fucking wat
>>
>>143162767
They have their championship and they have a new coach who they know isn't going to have them in contention any time soon. All a post season ban does is keep them from going to the Outback Bowl.
>>
>>143162767
Nothing ever happens, especially now. The NCAA is a lame duck organization that is, itself, illegally structured which will soon cease to exist.
>>
Michigan
>Perfect coaching continuity, offensive and defensive playcallers both from same/similar systems
>QB with multiple years in the system
>Lost a lot on offense, but still have some key weapons like Loveland and Edwards
>Defense is still absolutely stacked and will possibly be even more aggressive with Martindale calling plays (could be good or bad)
Ohio State
>Same DC, but new OC with essentially a completely new scheme to learn for the players
>No one in the QB room has experience in either Day's or Kelly's offenses.
>Offense, even with the loss of Harrison and Traynum, still has plenty of firepower. Losing McCord's experience in the system will still hurt them early on in the season.
>Defense will likely be the best it's been under Day, with Knowles now having plenty of depth for his scheme and a great addition to the back end with Downs
I still think Michigan wins. Ohio State is going to look like 2015 UGA, quarterback-by-committee with a new offensive scheme that fails to utilize all the available weapons. Defense will likely still be elite enough to carry them through most of their schedule, but it won't be enough in the games that matter. And similar to that team, the head coach will be getting canned at the end of the season.
>>
>>143163043
Howard has a hard ceiling at QB but he will be a lot better than shitcord
But they will have the exact same problem as always

Day may have the most loaded roster with a lot of returning nfl talent and the best play callers in the league. I just dont see it for michigan this year because they seem like a team that wont be able to reload fully but honestly it would be funny if the big10 was lolmichiganwins. If what you are saying does happen I think it has to start with that OSU QB and Oline being meh, which still means you probably have to score 21+ to win against what is looking to be a top 3 defense at least. I think we will know everything after their trip to Eugene.

Howard has two big weaknesses
>not very good at feeling pressure
>will make a couple WTF passes a game where he just doesn't see the defender and throws it right to him
If he has a clean pocket he will pick apart defenses. >We had a pretty good OL and RBs the last couple years but Ohio State will have much better WRs than Kansas State so having more separation should cut down on the WTF passes. He isn't a run first QB but he can run well enough to force defenses to account for him and burn them if they don't.
>>
>>143163265
That's not how appeals work. Any punishment would be deferred until after the process is completed, which likely won't be until well after the season is over.
It also should be noted that the CFP is not run by the NCAA, and is not obligated to honor any postseason ban. They still might, but they don't have to. So we really could just be talking a ban from the lesser bowls here.
>>
There will be no punishments once the NCAA is gone
One team can assassinate all the other players and coaches of a team before they play and they would pay about a $100 fine

I think Michigan will reload a lot better than most think they will. Remember after 2021 when Ojabo and Hutchinson graduated and a lot of people expect the defense to fall? It ended up getting better.

Florida is historically an inconsistent, often meh team. The highlighted sections on the image are when Spurrier was their QB, when he was the head coach, and then Urban's years. Outside of those periods, it's historically up and down for the Gators and up usually doesn't last all that long. Spurrier and Urban gave the impression that Florida was some kind of blue blood instead of a mostly good but not great and sometimes horrible team.

>The Gators also failed to have 11 men on the field for a special-teams situation at least five times this season, including once against the Razorbacks.
That's FCS tier incompetence. It would look bad for a G5 coaching staff to let that happen so frequently. That it's happening at a P2 program is pretty unacceptable.

Yeah that definitely feels where the program is at. We are similar to a lot of the other good to very good programs but anyone who knows ball knows ND isnt a championship program where it stands now. Still feels like a trend upward however. Better coordinators, recruiting classes, new AD(who hopefully takes an intrest in football). It has the feeling to also be a good year with an easy schedule and a lot of experienced guys with some talent but some obvious weakness(mainly wr and oline depth). I am predicting 10-2/11-1. I think we drop week 1, way too big a deal is made of it, and have a toss up with FSU that goes either way. We have actually gotten better with some of the top 10 matchups under Freeman, with some incredibly frustrating exceptions.

Michigan will get little to no punishment. The NCAA is looking to dump all responsibility on Stalions and his buddy Kostner at CMU. They'll both be banned from working or volunteering at any NCAA member school for some period of time. Stalions won't care. Worst anyone can do to him would be if Michigan banned him from attending sporting events like Alabama did with Harvey Updyke (who then attended anyway, sometimes getting caught, sometimes not). Things are a bit worse for Kostner as coaching is how he makes his living. He probably will end up working at a high school or NAIA school until his show-cause punishment expires.

Meanwhile, UF finished with a worse PPG allowed after this season than they did in the 2021 season you're referencing.
Additionally, their PPG scored has steadily decreased since Mullen was fired.

Also worth pointing out, UF's talent composite has decreased since Napier was hired. He was touted as the man to fix the recruiting and it hasn't happened because his teams are dogshit on the field and the university still hasn't upgraded their facilities that were out of date 20 years ago.

>Secondly, how the fuck do I use the veer and shoot in CFB25?
1. Select one of the W I D E formations
2. Pick a running play/RPO/option play you like
3. Spam it until the DBs start creeping up (use Turbo, you can usually get some offsides penalties and free plays)
4. Deep shot
5. Repeat steps 1-4 until the game is over

Key thing is, don't run against a heavier box. Example: you've got 5 OL and a TE, don't run the ball if there's 7 guys in the box (very easy to count box defenders in the wide forms). Use short passes or RPOs until they back off, then go back to spamming runs. If you see press man, take a deep shot.

Don't know why he left Alabama as he got playing time there, including in the national championship game. But whatever the reason, he played a season at Texas but got kicked off the team for criminal activity. Next up was to be UCF but I guess now that he has another set of criminal charges against him, they're backing out. Someone will take him since he's on probation instead of in prison. My guess is Florida Atlantic.

Not saying UVA is going to the Big Ten or SEC, but let's not pretend like all of this is happening due to on-field results. If that was the case, the Pac-12 certainly wouldn't have added Colorado; Big Ten Rutgers and Maryland, etc. There's a lot more variables that come into play.

Don't know about all of Division I since I don't pay much attention to FCS, but in FBS, the correct answer is the MAC. Not because they're underdogs or any of that shit but because they're all similar regional schools you can drive between.
They're committing self harm by letting in UMass, who really doesn't fit the profile of a MAC school and is outside of the footprint. Still, midweek nighttime football late in the season is everything that the Big Ten claims to be but stopped being long ago.
>>
>>143249450
Assuming top level FBS the MAC
>Majority have been in the same conference for 50+ years
>Geographically close to perfect, all besides two still close northeastern schools are within a few hour drive of each other
>All know they are minnows who won’t ever do anything but don’t give a shit and enjoy just playing each other

At least they didn't add Delaware. There's no way around it, there really needs to be a MAC for the northeast/mid-Atlantic states. The Sun Belt has taken in the Mid-Atlantic teams and it works fine, but it would be better if there was a conference for non power football teams from Virginia to Maine. Sort of like the Ivy League but without needing to be quite that academically elite. This exists in FCS but no one wants to drop down just to save some on travel.

Went from Big East Powerhouse to nobody in the ACC

Went from regular bowl team in Big East to bottom feeder in ACC

Went from routine bowler in Big XII to laughingstock in Pac 12
>Texas A&M
Went from Routine bowler in Big XII to routine Bowler in SEC
>Rutgers
Went from Big East middle of the pack to B1G bottom feeders
>Maryland
Went from ACC middle of the pack to B1G bottom feeders
>Syracuse/Pity/Louisville
All went from Big East players to floundering in the ACC, though Louisville finds water better than the others

Maryland and Rutgers were huge realignment winners. They entered the B1G at pretty much the only moment they would ever be desired because muh market was a huge deal when they were invited. Today markets are less relevant and realignment value is moving toward brand power and generating must see games, where both schools are irrelevant.

Without B1G invitations Rutgers would be in the American or maybe the ACC. Maryland would be in the BC/Wake Forest/Syracuse cuck shed group that knows they are fucked once the ACC is poached (Rutgers is also here if they were invited to the ACC in this alternate timeline). Doesn't matter that they aren't competitive, they secured their seat at the table when they had their only opportunity to do so and avoided the Oregon State/Washington State bad ending.

A&M so far is the biggest winner of realignment, they got everything they wanted except more wins but they wanted more wins in the Big 12 also (only conference title was against undefeated Kansas State, which derailed their national championship hopes). Rutgers and Maryland won big in terms of stability and finances, they weren't doing shit in their old conferences and they aren't doing shit now but they got stuck in with the big boys and that's honestly what matters. They got Raptured. Missouri was winning, but they decapitated their entire organization over the shit swastika.

I wouldn't say Maryland, Rutgers, A&M, or Nebraska really "fell" and Missouri killed themselves. Nebraska was not a powerhouse in the Big 12, they were an also ran and bullied an extremely weak Big 12 North. They're just playing big boys every week and, surprise, they just aren't up for it but they never were. Bo Pelini lost a ton of close games in the Big 12, especially against the Big 12 South, due to bad playcalling and that continued into the B1G. The boosters are regents are retarded and are living in a bygone era, they've lost two (2) athletic directors to A&M because literally all you have to do as an AD is keep shit under the rug and handle communication between athletics and the university proper and the boosters at Nebraska want him to do stupid shit like teach the coach how to coach.

That being said, they have a chance to turn things around. If you went to the Big 12 or ACC, you might not have a chance after this next round of realignment occurs and you get Left Behind.
>>
>>143258518
Would you say Nebraska joined the Big Ten with the goal of becoming bottom feeders
>>
>>143258968
You or anon said Nebraska was a Big 12 powerhouse. I'm saying they weren't, though they were a Big 8 powerhouse. That's my point of contention. I also wouldn't say they are bottom feeders or a laughing stock. Just a perennial disappointment.
>>
>Ohio State Buckeyes and Syracuse are the only two Power 4 schools not playing a non-conference game against another Power 4 school, Notre Dame or the Pac-12's remaining two schools.
Free ticket to the playoffs for the Buckeyes.

>>A&M so far is the biggest winner of realignment, they got everything they wanted except more wins
Wrong. What A&M wanted the most was to get the fuck away from UT, and Texas just followed them. They’ve achieved virtually nothing by this move other than not being stuck in the now worthless truck stop conference.

speaking of, we almost had this as a conference in the 1950s. It was supported by the US Government, and it would've absolutely dominated pretty much everything. They'd get all of the televised games everywhere and every newspaper would be writing about Penn State vs USC instead of the local Utah vs Utah State. That is, until a plane crash killed the Air Force team en route to Syracuse
