The CPUs are also impossible to cheese for once, and they adapt to your playcalls and formations. I genuinely love the challenge. The presentation is also amazing, the detail from pre-game traditions to the bands playing the appropriate music for the right moments on the field is great. Stadiums look fantastic tooOutside of that it was clear that those two things were their #1 priority because it’s pretty shallow otherwise. Dynasty has a couple of neat new quirks but that’s pretty much it, mostly the same thing from the last time the games came out. Until recently the sim AI was complete and utter shit, they fixed it a bit but it still has a lot of issues. It’s also completely wild how the Rece Davis/Jesse Palmer/David Pollack booth is really good, best in game commentary from an EA Sports game in a while and the Fowler/Herbie booth is just so fucking bad. I spent all off season listening to the chuds at Warchant.com talk about how we are gonna have a more dynamic offense and a similarly stout defense as we did last year. The game was the exact opposite of that. Teams can turn around, look at Alamaba last year....... I don't think anyone expected us to go undefeated, but losing a season opener after complaining for 9 months is a bad look. Most people agree we deserved to be in, but it's just embarrassing at this point, we have to move on. BC coming up should be a win, then we have Memphis, Cal, SMU, and Clemson. if we can win all of those with the possible exception of clemson, then we will be at least on track for an 8-4 season. hopefully we can go 9-3 by taking one of ND, Miami, and Clemson. they r gonna have to tighten up or we could end up 6-6 or worse.
