He might be straight up the best since Gretzky at creative passing in the offensive zone (give him McDavid's athleticism and he probably scores 180 points he surely has to be better to produce anywhere close to him given the humongous physical gap), but I'm not entirely sure that he's trusted to do much else in the same way that other absolute top-tier players are, especially in his own zone against other top lines.In some ways there are a lot of parallels with his fellow Russian Ovechkin in that they're both virtually GOATed at capitalizing on offensive zone space but also have real holes you don't normally see from players at their very top level so have to play more sheltered minutes than their Hart-contender peers.I do think we kind of intuitively know this though because if we're strictly looking at Kucherov's point production relative to era he's straight up a top 10 player of all time and virtually the peer of someone like Crosby and most fans wouldn't rate his complete package quite in that range.
