So it turns out if you roleplay as a deranged schizo 2-3 times per week for 2 years the schizophrenia becomes self-sustaining and a general will become attuned with whatever persona you project.
Profound and permanent psychic and cultural vandalism is possible with very few resources.

Because sub boards shouldn't exist on 4chan. It should be freeform discussion that lives and dies chaotically. Or you can, you know, go to reddit.

Why do we forces ourselves into general? Like the only reason janny trannies and the tranny mods can enforce it is because most of the user base here is fine with it.
But why? What do we gain in isolating ourselves in these tiny bubbles and having discussions ruined because of one determined shit head.
I want 4 HH threads and 5 40k threads and whatever else

First of all many of the low CR beasts have extremely overpowered abilities and second of all as a druid you also have access to conjure woodland creatures which allows you to summon 8 fairies which can each cast polymorph and invisibility and shit
You can also just raw polymorph
Anyway yeah shit is busted
An experienced dm will say no
One that isnt might allow you to ruin shit

>>
>>97229928
The ape does have more HP, and a ranged attack is very nice. Plus in the 2014 rules, the T-Rex can't bite and tail the same target, so the damage suffers.
In 2024, that was fixed and the Ape's ranged option can't be spammed, so there's more of a case to be made for both.

I feel like this edition has alot of objectively bad things about it and is absolutely where the alot of worst qualities of current editions showed up. But I feel like I prefer playing this edition compared to a lot of previous editions and 10th edition. Its a weird transitional period where there's still a lot of the old units that haven't been legended yet while still having the fucking Primaris lot. Its strange but I don't feel like I'm missing out on much staying on this edition and playing with friends casually instead of going back to playing the current edition.

I enjoy playing some Index era 8th casually from time to time, it feels a bit like core book 3rd and as long as you aren't dealing with WAAC tournament grinders (which nobody still playing 8th should be having to deal with) it is a very fun way to play the game as far as Modernhammer editions go. I still mostly play 2nd, a little 3rd and 5th but Index 8th is the newest form of the game to exist in my rotation and I don't see that changing for a long time.
>>

>Least delusional Eldar player

I remember 3rd was when the delusional BS started, online all Eldar players were discouraging everyone from playing them as they were for advanced players only when all they did was stick starcannons on everything.

Saying 7th taudar was only dominant a short time or that it was only as bad as necrons is pure delusion. 1000pts of taudar can easily table 2000 pts of necrons. You could even table 5000 pts of orks

>Similar to how the OT never really shows the actual GCW beyond a few events
That's not the argument you think it is, given how many gormless BUT I DID EAT BREAKFAST retard NPCs out there insist with absolute certainty that the entire Rebellion was depicted on-screen during the OT, that the whole conflict between Rebellion and Empire was depicted on-screen during the OT, and that everything we see on-screen in the OT happens in real time despite the obvious(and openly stated by Lucas) purpose of the screenwipe is to imply both a change of scene *and* some meaningful amount of time passing.

Vaguely intelligent people always make the mistake of assuming everyone operates on their level: they do not. Most of humanity are gormless morons that will struggle to grasp anything that would confuse a toddler unless it is explained to them repeatedly and in excruciating detail. For the vast majority of the fanbase, George's style of filmmaking is not sufficient to convey the story he intends.
>>
>>97231041
Stormtroopers *were* elite infantry, they were not special forces. I know the Crayon Eaters over in America like to believe otherwise, but units like the Marines - which is the closest IRL equivalent -are not on par with actual commando forces like the SAS or Delta. They can call themselves "operators" and spout tacticool babble all they like, they will never be on that level.

Now here's a thought:
What if, on the image board for discussing tabletop games, we actually talked about things relevant to tabletop games?
What if, in this thread with people who didn't get a satisfactory answer from a gay frogposter, we talked about ways a rogue-type character could adopt the role of a "tank" to protect a caster-type character in a given game?
That way, this thread would have a reason to exist beyond baiting faking board activity; we could actually have an on-topic discussion on the traditional games board for once.

How does that sound?
>>
>>97230466
No. Answer the question.
>>
>>97229548
BELIEVE IT!
>In b4...
yeah. State your system and setting and give a specific scenario.
>>
>>97231040
Well, there's the issue right there; this thread is predicated on unanswered questions in regards to a gay frogposter's likely fake scenario that didn't provide a game or hardly any context to begin with.
All we ("we" as in, those of us with interest in this topic) have to go on is it's supposedly a game, and has at least rogues and casters as character options, and features hostile monsters.

Ttrpgs are ultimately just cooperative storytelling with a dice game on top. It's up to every group whether they just wanna play the dice game or add a story to talk about. Obviously this narrative part of the game can be existential and question morale because often enough that is what makes a story memorable or good to begin with.

Each group can decide upon that themselves, I don't think we need a basedboy redditor to tell us.

I mean, Lecxifaggum are pretty much doing that already. Look at some of the pages for Marine chapters eg that have had recent edits, almost all the content relates to recent shit and the actual citations are all for post-Gathering Storm sources. The ones that still claim to use older material have them listed unnumbered in a little supplementary section at the end. They've purged huge amounts of "outdated lore" to the point that I don't even bother looking at it anymore because ~90% of the time the info on whatever I searched up is all nuslop trash.

Lex have always been Muh Official poofters.

How do you justify a "pest race" like goblins or rat people in your setting? Why wouldn't the dominant species make a concentrated effort to eradicate them if they were a problem?

I know this is a 1pbtID bot thread, but ive considered this before
so in my setting, the answer is that they are very widespread, numerous, and often tucked away into tight dark caves
they are used by stronger evil races as slaves, so you wont have access to all of them anyway without going against said stronger races
civilization in my setting is less widespread and more isolated from each other, so there is no real capacity to organize and man such an endeavor
elves, dwarves, hobbits, etc do pretty good at keeping them mostly out of their homelands except in low numbers

Edward isnt special in the powers he has. Hohenheim and his teacher can all also do circle-less transmutation, its just an effect of reaching the truth.
Edward is "special" because of his drive and perspective, because he is enough of an outsider to the system to not be particularly caught up in it and because he has a singular vision that pushes him to do what he does.

i finished my doom divers and the flying guys. thanks to the anon in the last thread who suggested i paint a bit of black grease on there, it looks good in my opinion.
i 3d printed out the bases and the actual catapults but all the boyz are made of a mix between random 40k orks and leftover fantasy orc bits. you can see the crew behind them that are still a wip but they are all gw bits as well but kitbashed and using a bit of twine for the rope and green stuff for the hooks and to position their arms. the hooks look terrible but they won't be visible much.

Vista edition

>Cyberpunk 2020 vs. Cyberpunk RED?
Cyberpunk 2020 is the second edition of the Cyberpunk TTRPG that focuses on simulation gameplay and has a black trenchcoat aesthetic.

Cyberpunk RED is the fourth edition of the Cyberpunk TTRPG that is set after Cyberpunk 2020 following the Fourth Corporate War, focuses on more balanced gameplay and is more streamlined but has less content.

You can discuss Shadowrun here too because I also feel bad for those guys.

Depends entirely on the person. I like 2e because shadowrun, to me, will always be the early 90s roc paperbacks. I've also heard good things about 4th/5th. It seems like the most recommended is 20th anniversary.

Anarchy 2e looks promising, as well, if you're down for a more narrative game.

You should check out the 4th Corporate War books from 2020 in >>97200207. Obviously the corps aren't allowed to go that all-out anymore but it could inspire you.

My favorite cyberpunk ™ corporate job is employee extraction (very rarely the target actually does want to work for you!). It can get extra dicey if you're forced to extract the target's family from the company dorms or you can challenge your players morals when they find out the target is actually fine starting fresh and abandoning his family, probably to the streets.

You can also go nuts with the corp's defenses. The 4CW had stuff like concealed turrets that would pop out of the walls to defend against AV's flying around.

What corporation does your crew want to run for? Or which corporation looks like the most fun for you?
