>>97289298Yeah immortality is stupid. Like who are you preserving this NPC for?
>>97289310It's not like I'm against CONDITIONAL immortality, it just annoys me when the core book itself goes "Well we don't want there to be PERFECT immortality y'know, for game immersion" and then immediately contradicts itself by 1. refusing to actually define circumstances where the Deathlords' immortality can be bypassed, which without elaboration may as well make it absolute and 2. fucking contradicting themselves with the case of Gajam-un HAVING PERFECT IMMORTALITY. Just like the Might 3 Goblinblooded battlegroup contradicting the premise that Exalted are never supposed to be battlegroup'd. Sure, make it difficult. But DEFINE it's lose condition. Tell me it's Kryptonite. If GET doesn't work, tell me what DOES. But at least in 3e, you can handwave all this shit with "lol sorcerous working" just subtly altering the cosmos in such a way that yes, Gajam-un, you can take that fucking dirtnap when I put you in a hole instead of sulkily respawning in a few years.
>>97289279Is geomancy not Lore or Occult?
>>97289310Also the argument that "well, GET is only a spirit-killer you know" is fucking stupid. The permanent murder of the Primordials in and of itself was a cosmological impossibility until the Exalted came along. In theory, even if GET doesn't work a Solar should absolutely be able to just develop GET 2: Kills Behemoths Boogaloo with enough effort. Or hell, if Occult is the wrong ability just make a Melee Charm that can burn away immortal flesh with sun laser swords. What I'm saying is "big beefy boi made of parts from a thing Exalts already managed to murder" is NOT something I deem sufficiently immortal for an Exalt to be reduced to sealing rather than murdering it.

Have you tried homebrewing different types of healing working differently and having different applications?Maybe I'm making stuff too complicated for the sake of being different.
What is the general consensus on puzzles/riddles? Given how most game sessions are lucky to last a few hours it would be awful to grind the game to a halt for even half an hour to solve a middle school logic problem (god knows how long a more complex one might take). But I still feel like they are something that could be used sparingly. What if the players beat a skill check/scenario to continue the scene but the puzzle/riddle is introduced as something for more rewards? Hell, let the players continue to the next scene but let them think back to the puzzle and maybe solve it. Would that be a better solution to the past's 'all or nothing' approach?

Well. We beat the Shin Dragon King. Honestly kind of anti climatic, are super survivor with the adventurer's sword, 5 base Evasion, and the hazmat shield basically soloed him while the rest of the survivors just used headband to push down death descending and walk out of the way of incoming meltdowns. I can see why it's getting buffs in COD.

>>97286824Not exactly true. You can use the same ratio of paint but if you also didn't have them mixed up exactly the same as before you will get a slight variant. It's nitpicking bullshit, I admit. Honestly, though, you can get a shitload of variety just having ten to 12 base colors, a couple of skin tones, and a couple of washes. Just lighten the tones up for variety and slap on more coats to darken shit if you want. The benefit from having just a retarded amount of paint like an AP complete set is you SHOULD be experimenting with shit to get really unique stuff. Most won't do this and want all their stuff to look like official artwork which is basic bitch tier stuff.

I had to replace pretty much my whole hobby supplies collection a while back because of some faggot lazy roofer's apprentice who apparently forgot you have to hammer the nails in the whole fucking way...ahem, anyway yeah I ended up buying Two Thin Coats, but only because they were running their 3rd KS at the time and getting all their sets through that was a few quid cheaper than getting the Fanatic set from retailers, but it wasn't that long ago I wouldn't even have been considering them as an option. I did end up getting the Speedpaint 2.0 set and those are genuinely good - much more consistent in their qualities than Contrast, and compared to Xpress they're usually a bit punchier in their saturation(I'd rather dilute occasionally than faff about with extra layers when I'm using a speed painting product) and none of the foamy thing(which I know you can mitigate by taking your time but, again, they're for fucking speed painting if I was taking my time I'd just do glazing with regular acrylics).
