>>97396927Yep
>>97398186If I am brutally honest there are some models I like from PGI though there are others I don't. My main criticism is that a fair chunk of their designs are way too fat and their hardpoint system ruins the aesthetics of many designs but did like some of their takes on some of the unseens.
>>97397665A Bradley is not light. A Bradley does not punch above its weight. It is a heavy IFV. A premier piece of warfighting equipment. It would best match to high tech slow lights that hit hard.>ClanAdder, Cougar
>>97397665Not sure the analogy is right but I'd say the Raptor for the IS. Not the best protected thing in the world but extremely well armed for something its weight and being an Omni can bring its own BA support without slowing down. Arctic Fox I'd say also falls into this category but I am not too fond with a lot of the configs.Clans you've got a choice of the Kit Fox, Adder or Cougar depending what config you go for. They ain't the fastest designs but they can pack a punch.

>>97396518Seems like a cool game but the book itself is trash
>>97398293>It's a game that wants to be BerserkIt WANTS to be so shallow and free of substance that the creator masturbated himself to death (to loli) before he figured out what to do with the plot after the big dramatic tweest that is the only thing people remember about it?
>>97396518>No content postThese threads are just like the books>>97398335>It WANTS to be so shallow and free of substanceChecks>that the creator masturbated himself to death (to loli)Might as well be, the blurb sounds like closet-pedo puritanism>before he figured out what to do with the plot after the big dramatic tweest that is the only thing people remember about it?Well, yeah, the game is vaguely without long-term objectives and hides it behind the world end tweest mechanic.
>>97396625>Comes across as fags just being contrarianThat describes the writers and playerbase.
>>97398293I never got the impression that MB was anything other than tongue through cheek about it's grim derp aesthetic.
Did you know that in 1999 Dan Abnett did a comic that was basically a wholesale rip-off of 40k except the main character was this vampire lady that he had all the other characters constantly talk about how sexy she was.It had a feudal space Catholic empire that oppressed mutants, and even had elite warriors with implanted organs and cybernetics using weapons called bolters. Later Dan Abnett had the MC tame a bolter warrior with her vampire pussy.
>>97397785My favorite Warhammer 40k ripoff is War of the Worlds. It's very unoriginal since Warhammer did the alien war idea much earlier, as well as the idea of virus bombing aliens to death. But H.G. Wells manages to make steampunk science fiction interesting despite it not having space marines and bolters in it.
>>97398159I really liked that warhammer ripoff movie that came out a few years ago, with the twink main character? What was it called, DUNC I think? That was a decent movie but man, he should sue, such an obvious rip off.
>>97397403Why did so many pistols from 1990s media have that exact (entirely fictional) silhouette?
>>97398179Base it on a Desert Eagle and then just make the barrel longer?

>>97396792>>97396789>>a true follower of the Living Force.>What does that mean?Basically, a Jedi listens to the Force and goes where the Force wants him to go, often leading to such a Jedi arriving at the right place at the right time, maybe even early, before they learn why they could be needed there, but they usually ARE needed there, sooner or later. And they operate like that rather than listening to the Council, and maybe would make decisions the Council would be against, especially if against what the Senate would want them to do, as Jedi often did things that were objectively wrong, all because those were the orders of the Senate, like the Khaleesh being the ones punished after the Huk War, only because they managed to push bugs back, take the war to their colony planets, but unlike the Huk, they were neither the part of the Republic nor in possession of important resources. Or Battle of Galidraan, where Mandalorians were framed, all so Jedi could be used to eliminate them.
>>97396856Those comics gave some fun memes and useful images. Also, one of design choices of Zao that I like is his lightsaber being mounted on top of a stick, which is rare in whole of Legends.

>>97398303They're fine. Wind temple gives you some units that let you play for objectives a little easier, and the river temple unit is sometimes meta, but generally swords/spears/bows/cavalry are a core part of many lists.

>>97396104If it's the Totallynotabot one, I think it was tried although not too seriously because it was just rolling and if you rolled any of the options below the 9 default points you might as not play. It also makes Heavenly Restriction just the strongest option. Getting an extra 2 points and having 250x human physical stats at the effective cost of 3 points, or just 2 if you are a drop-in, puts you ahead of essentially every other choice because you have 7 more points that you don't have to worry about dividing between cursed energy and talent like all how Sorcerers and Cursed Spirits have to.
>>97396731Looking at the cast I thought there'd be at least one criminal, like fredrick sounds like he'd be one but he's apparently a performer? Same with Henryk being a civil servant rather than being a businessman. We also don't have a proper rebel or clanker character yet, but we do have a vampire and a werewolf for some reason. It's actually nice to see how different our doctors and insane crafters are despite or because of how much the cyoa leans on one or the other for the tech tree.
>>97398099Criminal? Clanker?Sorry, you instead may have the malevolent riddle puppet of whom almost had an 'enemy bane' section attached to the friend bonusWant to know another funny bit? Cause tinkering 1 is free its used to get gadgetry but Baffle Box is no inventor and cannot repair itself or create tech like others can or could
>the next BBEG in your campaign is a coomer that goes around kidnapping and mind controlling women for his harem, and literally that’s it.Does your party even care? Does your setting/game system even care? Assume that the BBEG is an adequate challenge and difficulty for your setting and party (whether it’s Exalted or DND or Rogue Trader or whatever, and the villain is always the right difficulty level for your party whether you’re lvl 1 or lvl 20 or a weenie or a Solar, the scale is perfect).Basically is this guy a problem you and your crew would want to fix in whatever game you’re playing. If he isn’t, what would it take to make him be a problem? A bigger bounty or reward? A personal friend that got turned into a harem slave?
>>97396366Oh well. Your party would still stop him anyway.
>>97392676I've got a lewd campaign on hiatus right now, have tried to include guys like him before but none of my players want this particular kink anywhere near the campaign. They will simply refuse to interact and if pressed will treat any hypnosis command as if they were malicious, yandere genies.
>>97392676The BBEG should turn defeated PCs part of the harem. Male PCs get gender bent and impregnated for the ultimate defeat humiliation ritual.
>>97397159Not surprising at all. Players hate control being ripped away from them for almost any reason, especially if it's used to screw their party over or humiliate the player in some manner.
>>97397416Good idea

>>97397630Considering Gifts are soul level BS that change you fundamentally when you acquire them, you keep them alongside your Gnosis, Rage, Willpower etc. I would imagine you get the new body's physical attributes and Abilities.>>97397657>>97397818I get players that can't even bother to read a few pages about their clan and the disciplines in core even though they claim they want to play it. They are...not the worst type of newbie but probably the most annoying one.
>>97397959Sure it's not the worst new players but I would like to get sensible progress over a 3-4 hour session.
>>97397839if possible I'd keep trying to introduce them to established DnD settings (or Pathfinder settings) since that game seems to be one they're the most familiar with. Trying to drag them kicking and screaming into a whole new set of books and a heavily immersive world of lore might be difficult. You could also look at games like the Warhammer 40k RPGs by Fantasy Flight Games, or Wrath and Glory, since those are specifically designed around an established setting that they have to learn and understand or else their characters will be swiftly deleted by the Imperial authorities.
>>97398305Good advice, yeah I'll consider it. I just like WoD more than Warhammer and DnD but maybe I should keep it in mind.

So my DND group was kind of disolving, 2 out of the 4 players left because of life issues (one got a job abroad and the other one is dealing with life), to keep playing we incorporated 2 new players with not so much experience but avid watchers of Critical Role. One of these player conditions was that we incorporate x cards to the game, she says that it makes it much more comfortable for her to know she can avoid unpleasant story elements having this tool. I started to read a bit about it online and is this something you guys have used? In my 20 years playing I've never used this.

>>97363372Always had it at the table but used it basically once, when we forgot we had "rape" as a line and one player invoked it during a "we're possibly going into rape territory" scene. But we always to lines and veils beforehand and keep the list updated if something comes up during play.

>>97397538Silly, but like in a good way. Future bows firing future arrows to silently drop sentries and do all kinds of ninja shit is 10/10.
>>97397538I love guns far too much to actually make use of it but I can see the appeal. Bows are quieter than guns, are legal to own almost everywhere and have reusable ammo. However, I imagine you'll still get laughed at if you're the only merc at the function with a literal caveman weapon while everyone else has smartlinked gats that blow the wall out.
>>97395753The anime was nice advertising, but it didn't fix all the bugs and update the game. The game was undercooked. It needed another month or two worth of bug-fixing time. Also, the console versions were not really up to snuff. CDPR should have just made it a PC exclusive or only released it for consoles after they figured out how to optimize the game better. They obviously got better at optimization at some point since the thing is running on a Switch 2 now.
>>97397953They won't be laughing at 5d6 HEP damage
>>97397538Cool if you lean into it, being "the guy with the bow" is fun. But as a serious alternative to guns? Not a fan. I file it under 'Gimmick' like the guy who only uses swords, or fists, or explosives, or poison, etc. But you could hypothetically strap any sci-fi gadget to an arrow and do something cool with it. Just off the top of my head:>Microphone arrow, listen in to target from afar>Sensor arrow, get HUD info on the room it's in>Explosive arrow, obviously>Poison gas grenade arrow>Strobe arrowBasically anything you can pack into a fistful you can design into an arrow, or sometimes duct tape onto it.
