Another step on the road of catching up.
There are some minor typos and errors, usually not enough to detract, but there is one key moment where I ended up confused, and I'm not sure if it's not because of them:

What was this supposed to mean? I'm leaning towards a more straightforward "of course I'M NOT trying to kill myself", but some more convoluted "gotta kill myself in order to live" wouldn't be that out of place in a shonen.
The piece is rather exposition heavy. I think Orochi cutting into Hiro'd explanations a bit earlier would be more to my tastes. It could be just that I'm a dummy and that's why my eyes shut glaze over the science.
I also didn't expect Quirks to be able to be distilled like that.
Now for the more character driven parts.
I liked the intro scene. Rosethorn coming to her students defense, the Principal trying to shoulder the hard but probably for the better choice, and most of all the build up towards displaying Hiro's determination. Sandy took a lot from him, and he refuses to let him take anymore, in fact, he vows to take back what's his. Cause that's what heroes do.
Or mad scientists. He's approaching that level. I half expect something to go wrong and him going evil due to it, Doc Ock style. I think him eventually going support, especially in the medical fields, might be his good end.
Orochi being there for him and relating it to her own experiences is also a good detail. She sees a bit of herself in him, so depending how his stand end ups, it might affect how she approaches her own.

Makes enough sense. I think Bobby runs into an issue where enhancements might only weaken him, but maybe he can get some smaller things like some kind of sunlight battery that lets him store charge for his quirk longer. Hifumi's a solid pick though.

Speaking of koreans bringing people with them, I guess that could include Junichi too. If his quirk isn't incompatible, he could be a great choice. He's baseline human, so it'd be pretty great for him physically. Maybe mechanical parts could even make his quirk easier to use since they can be designed with that kind of sudden bone growth in mind, unlike now where he basically just forces his bones to stab through his body. Also bone based pile driver could go pretty hard.

I was thinking Transport would fit well with her being a spatial mage that controls the area around her. A pocket space is seems like a natural expansion of that and give a + to her domain expansion talent. It was a short piece, and its purpose was more of an intro. It described some impact of Sandy's attack on the city, and set up an arc with the temple scene.
However, I feel like the introduction of Mash himself was a bit lacking. If I'm not mistaken, it's the first time he appears, isn't it? I don't think I've actually learned much that much about him. It could be summed up as "hero; young; kind of an asshole but honest". I hope I'll get to read more about him in the future, and understand better what he's all about.
