For the record, I never really leave. At most I'm just asleep or busy with something. I'm a member of the MHA mafia and the newly self-proclaimed shadow leader of the threadslave cabal, so I usually check in on every thread at some point.

Anyway, like >>93934927 pointed out, any Tao can be mortal or heavenly. It's just a matter of the practitioner's own perspective on their Tao.

Heavenly True Dragon Tao would be something like ancestral worship, seeing the originators of the True Dragon Bloodline as the the peak of the Tao, or perhaps even seeing beyond that to the Heavens, ala "The Heavens gave life to all creation, and of those things Dragons are the peak of all life, therefore Dragons are representative of the Heavenly Tao and to become one is to be one with the heavens"... or something like that. The main thing is that there's a focus on there already being some sort of ultimate life form known as a True Dragon, and the practitioner hopes to become it through the act of cultivation.

Mortal True Dragon Tao would be focused on the practitioner themselves, viewing their own journey through life like the legend of a carp journeying up a waterfall to leap through the dragon gate. With every trial they overcome and every new experience they take in, they refine their idea of what a True Dragon actually is. I guess think of it like the "A real man focuses not on what is, but what should be" mentality. The main thing is that the practitioner themselves is the True Dragon in question, and it is through their actions that it will become the ultimate life form through the act of cultivation.

Granted those are just random examples off of the top of my head. Tao is highly subjective, and any argument or line of thought is valid. It's a very literal case of there not being a wrong answer.

Given that Saint Cultivation is largely undefined its really up to Zheng anon how it works. For all I know he is using non-harming seals or mega heals in combat. I will say it didn't help him as much as being crippled cost him.

I'm not going to tell you that mining isn't a valid profession (it's certainly workable), but what that with mortal savant would do is help you locate and extract veins of spirit stone ore regardless of your cultivation. You'd still have issues like... say... the sect that owns the territory walking in and going "this ore vein is ours now, thanks nerd" and taking it all... Maybe you could sell your services to sects in exchange for keeping a % of the spirit stones for yourself? Anyway, that's a pretty small issue, honestly. If you replaced it with something normal like alchemy, you could just make Grade 10 pills and sell them in exchange for spirit stones. Either way, using a mortal savant profession to make ancestor level money is 100% doable.

As for using spirit stones to fuel a weapon you can't normally use yourself, yeah, that's pretty much the whole point of a spirit stone slot. It's an intended exploit.

So tl;dr, yes it's an exploit

KtH wasn't really built to be unbreakable... Or rather it's built with plenty of ways to break the system since that's just how Xianxia MCs be. I wasn't worried since the thread deals with game breaking builds on its own.

My personal favorite is to have multiple crafting builds team up and just speed blitz heavens-chan.
-First guy has an immortal armament (Something metal, maybe a smithing hammer)
-Second guy has a world seed (metal)
-Third guy has immortal scripture (Profession: Golem making) & mortal savant (Profession: Golem making)
-Result: Use the world seed to reproduce the base materials in the immortal armament, and then give those materials to the third guy who hammers out a Grade 11 golem army. If you run into energy issues with the world seed, consider getting a fourth teammate with something like Immortal Physique (the five basic elements) who can act as an infinite Qi battery to keep keep the raw material factory running.

Yeah, you could totally make it work with something other than metal. The main point was that with metal, you could lend the metal smithing hammer to the crafter to make the process even smoother since now they have grade 11 materials, grade 11 techniques, and a grade 11 crafting tool on top of it. If you go with wood or paper, then you'd want the original immortal armament to be a crafting tool that's made out of wood/paper, but meant to be used for crafting wood/paper items. Surely doable, but metal felt the most self-consistent to me. You can also have issues with material diversity, like maybe your paper golems need grade 11 ink on top of paper, which you can't make because the world seed only makes paper.

Going without the crafting tool angle would also probably work too. It's just less optimized. The only important part is that the material of choice is consistent between all three fated encounters.

Yue has many lingering regrets, especially in regards to the people left under a blood-soaked crown, but on a personal level she's content. She tried her hardest, failed, and somehow managed to get a new (far less stressful) second life. She's free to wander city streets and try out food from stalls, adventure into untouched jungles and long lost ruins, offend or befriend whoever she pleases, etc, and she plans to make full use of her freedom.

Her full Tao is "The Blade of Freedom", symbolically linking her saber with the idea of freedom. A blade represents severance, and serves to cut away that which is harmful. A blade is not wielded to slay the enemy, but to free oneself of the chains that bind them. No matter the enemy that stands before her, what her saber is truly pointed at is misfortune itself. She believes that as long as she lives according to her heart, one day she'll cleave apart her all the laws that wound bind her, even those of the heavens themselves.

For the proposed techniques, I don't think I'll copy them word for word, but they are food for thought when it comes xianxia style. For the Attack, yes it's supposed to reflect his training as an assassin, so that'd fit. I considered making it an Ambush (doable if I took Demonic Wilds freebies for the roots, and considering that's what the Open Sect essentially is, it wouldn't even be that much of a stretch), but those are supposed to have strange effects, so I thought just Attack would fit better.

Depends on cultivation level. Ancestors? Same bar. If you don't kill them outright, they'll very quickly reform their bodies. Everyone else? Different bars. Stab someone and they'll stay stabbed unless they know a technique / has an ability / owns a treasure / whatever that explicitly has a healing effect. Best they could do is control their body's muscles to press the wound shut and avoid bleeding to death.

Different bars until they reach divine power. That said, there is some overlap. I imagine you can heal physical wounds with Qi and Life Energy easily, and soul energy slowly. Likewise heal spiritual damage with Soul and Qi easily and life energy slowly.
