What would a "normal" auxiliary cadre list look like? After the kill teams, hunting pack, combat patrol, and retaliation cadre, what should I get?Thinking about some fluff for /mydudes/ I imagine a lesser sept or colony with a large population of auxiliaries, maybe a former imperial world with lots of humans too. The public face is one of the idyllic future promised by the Greater Good, all species working in harmony. My Warlord, Commander Brighthope or something similarly dear leader-ey, is celebrated for his strategic acumen, having won several battles without firing a shot, and his inspiring persona as the embodiment of the Greater Good. His sub-commander, Darkflame or something edgy, would just flick her hair and brood. Because what's actually up is this world is a significant source of Tau wet work, training and executing black ops missions that give Brighthope his easy and popular victories. How much he actually knows is unclear. Visually, I'm thinking a robin's egg blue as the main color with neutral accents, simple and clean. But Darkflame and the stealth/ghostkeel/breachers would have an inverted dark scheme with the blue as a complement to tie them together. The Vespid and Kroot I'd like extra bloody and grimy, as if they're bred for savagery, assassination, and psychological warfare.
