Oh, side-stories exist. https://magic.wizards.com/en/news/magic-story/lorwyn-eclipsed-much-ado-about-thieving>Has a framing device of Auntie Grub telling some boggarts a tale of four boggart friends who raided a giant's lair>Said four boggarts were Flib, Lugg, Ygril and Naance, fucking arund as boggarts do>They're apparently scoping out a giant's liar, one named Boeb>Naance suggests maybe going for Bre instead, Ygril says "no that's gone to Shadowmoor we can't">So they've elected, on Ygril's choice, to head to Boeb's because the original plan fell through>Ygril did not say it was Boeb's until they got there because she knows her friends are all stupid cowards>Boeb's known as a particularly temperamental one, who's rumoured to eat boggarts and made flutes from their bones, stuff like that>Ygril dismisses those probably too easily, and says "come on we'll be as famous as Horp if we pull this off">Horp is a boggart who legendarily tamed and now rides a giant hornet>Ygril sends Lugg off to scout, causing Flib to be indignant and asking why he gets to do it, they argue about who's faster before Ygril just says "fuck you both go">Grub interrupts the story a bit to shout at one of the boggarts listening (named Nitwik) for interrupting>The scouts return, coast is clear, so they make their way near>They also have an eagle mount with them, Marrja, who they're deciding to have Flib ride around to cause a ruckus and hopefully lure Boeb out because they're dead if they go in with him there>As they get closer, they see a bunch of dead boggarts hanging from a tree, which causes the group to turn on Ygril and go "we should run">But before any real argument happens, Ygril interrupts, hearing a deep whooshing noise from within>They realise Boeb's asleep, and Ygril explains giants sleep differently and only when there's a sudden change like trauma or abundance (she hopes the latter)>Before the rest can question her, Ygril's bolting off into the cave
