Since I did paladin vs buu, lets do sons vs buu.This isnt really a question of "can they", sons have borderline infinite scaling as a feature. This is a question of "how many souls would it take". So lets find out. Lets assume sons start at the same PL as the paladin did, 20. Physical enhancement provides an exponential scaling of 2.5x per rank. 10 billion /20 is 500,000,000. So you need around 22 ranks of physical enhancement to become physically stronger than majin buu. This would have a soul cost of 1e+19 (ten quintillion) for the final rank (to go from rank 21 physical enhancement to rank 22). And thats really the only number you care about because of the exponential soul cost of the ability. This would also obviously mean that the cost to defeat majin buu is much cheaper the more ranks of physical enhahcement the son has "base", but given the time it takes to do that also scales exponentially this is likely to remain "a very big number". A number so large, in fact, that a son with limited capacity would never be able to come close, with their paltry limit of 1e+10 souls stored. So 1e+19 souls to be roughly on par with majin buu physically for ten seconds. Interestingly, physical enhancement gets less efficient the more you push it (the cost is more exponential than the multiplier gained), so fighting the stronger forms of buu (super buuhan is 8x stronger than normal buu, before we go into what he can push himself to via abilities) would require 1ex22 souls. Which is three orders of magnitude souls more. So, can sons fight Buu? Yes. Provided they have drained a very large number of universes totally dry of souls (for context: 100,000,000~ is the estimate for all humans that have ever lived), you would need billions of times that number to get enough souls. This is also however assuming sons fight hand to hand, instead of trying to magic buu to death. Which given buu regenerates, and the sheer cost of souls it takes for them? bad call.
