I'm usually not a buyfag for figures this expensive, but I loved this movie. Could some more experienced people tell me if they often go on sale? I can't see myself spending $300 on it but if I could get it for $150 or even $200 I think I'd cave

So, is this the most popular character in the franchise now? Haven't seen the movie yet, but she's pretty much all I've heard about from it.

Yes and she should absolutely be the protagonist going forward, she sells torn between two worlds better than anyone else

Todd's statues and megafigs (which are essentially staction figures) end up at Ross and other discounters, and his Avatar slop certainly ends up there, so you never know. It's hit and miss. Someone reported his DC Antimonitor megafig for $7.99 at a Ross in Florida but I never saw it in over 10-15 Ross' I hit in Southern California over the month of December. OTOH, I did find some $49 sets of his for $5.99. And saw some of those $149 PVC statutes he makes for about $30 or so, and some movie megafig staction's you couldn't pay me to buy for $7.99.

If you have family members, it's best to get them to hunt for you, because even shipping something like to you would only be about $8 with Pirate Shipping.

Has there ever been a figure that got cancelled or remained unmade that made you genuinely seethe at a company before? I remember being extremely ticked off when spin master refused to make a 4-inch figure of the riddler for their the batman toyline even though he was the main villain of the movie. And low and behold the toyline rotted at shelves because all they made for it where catwoman and a penguin figure that didnt even look like collin ferrel.

I hate what an established presence Neca and McFarlane has. None of their lines are interesting, and their quality isnt right. The only reason they exist is because we don't have a choice
>>
>>11662263
It took a few days but today i remembered.
It was Hasbro when they killed off the most recent retro Gi joe revival. The series was doa due to covid and distrobution and just a very small line up. They were great figures imo and i really enjoyed them despite the pain in the ass it was to even find the fuckers. They made 3 vehcles and repainted one but my dumbass was happy with my blue Hiss tank. Idk, so blah blah blah Hasbro shit and Walmart shit combined to poop all over a series i was enjoying.
Then i find out aboutHasbro doing o-ring figures instead of their ME retro line and fucking cracked. Im sure i embarassed myself in gi joe general over the skystriker haslab. I was really furious that hasbro killed a line i really really enjoyed and thought was a good figure for some shitty looking bootleg retro figures. And heres the kicker, hasbro basically gave up on orings and sold some license agreement to Super 7 for orings and Hiya Toys for a modern figure.
Fuck you Hasbro
Ps- I didnt mention Power Rangers. you fuck wit
>>
>>11663607
Im mad that hasbro killed 3.75 gi joe too. I hate classified in a way for being more 1/12 slop that replaced the superior 3.75 joe toys (tho im a bit of a hypocrite since i own several classified figures too) and i just wish it would come back but i know deep down it probably never will. I hated how they killed off modern 1/18 joe but was still happy we got o-ring 1/18 figures from hasbro but they dont even do that anymore either. Fuck hasbro

I see they now branch into Bayverse too, I saw many Transformers G1 AMK Mini Series figures at my local store, are they good? I might get them. I like that they are cheap and wonder if the quality is good.

If they're not his photos the whole thing becomes even more baffling. But everything I said would still apply to the original photographer as well.
>>
>>11664533
I've said it before, but there are one or several anons in these generals who repeatedly use "autism" to describe the exact opposite of autism, for some reason.
Now it's meant to be a goofy pose? Before I thought it was supposed to be "cool" for some reason. Pick a lane.

Wheeljack's on sale at Target for $12 plus tip. Snagged two while I was there. Feelsgoodman, he's always been my favorite Autobot.

He's probably the best figure I got in 2025, or close. I got him in a shipment with like 5 others, and it's the one I haven't put down yet.

Alright /mrg/, I hate to be that guy, but I stumbled across pic related and despite my best efforts, couldn't find the information I was looking for.

The bots themselves I figured out, they're Hobby No57 Armored Puppet Mr.J, and they're cool and all, but I'm more interested in the ship parts they're standing on.

What are those parts called and can they, if I buy enough of them, make an actual little ship for these guys to pilot? I don't have any of the figures from this line, but if there's potential to make an actual ship and a crew to go with it, well I seem to have developed an irrational need to collect various Pirate Ships and Crews so I would very much go broke making this a thing.

Any info on those base parts and the actual limits to their customization potential would be very helpful.
>>
>>11664509
Many of the other No.57 sets came with these modular base pieces, and were one of the selling points. In order to make a ship, you’d have to buy the Mista J set in multiples, as it only comes with essentially a quarter of a hull. If you wanted to build, say, a captains quarters on the deck, you’d probably need to get some other sets. None of them had working doors, but some game with gates or windows that could be opened/interchanged.

In short, these baseplates are the essence of modularity, allowing for lots of cool buildings. It’s a shame they’ve done away with them in later releases.
>>
>>11664553
Thanks for the info, when looking up stuff on the figures I didn't see mention of any of the boat parts but that makes a lot of sense now. Guess I'll be doing more research and getting at least 2-4 of those pirate sets.
>>
>>11664509
>>11664605
Yeah basically what you see in that picture is what you can make with one set, I have exactly that on my desk.

hello anons. first kit. did not want to ruin it by painting (have never painted before), but I wanted to try a pin wash. how did I do?
realized too late that I should have used black instead of brown, it looked rusty. I panicked and may have removed too much paint.

I didn't see any foty threads so I thought I would make one myself hope that's ok >.<

Feel free to post your top figure(s) and discuss other anons'. I picked 5 for myself but you can pick more or less. These are probably my favorites from the year in order from 1-5

>1. Black Series Anakin
Long over due but wait was worth it. He is really well designed and face likeness is easily one of the best, if not the best in the line. I am sad I couldn't get the SDCC Mustafar duel set with the extra heads and hands but even without them he is fantastic.

>2. S.H.Figuarts Romance Dawn Zoro
Zoro is really fun to pose. Double knees would have been nice but even without them you can get him into a lot of cool poses.

>3. Figma Laios
Idk I just like Laios and I'm glad they are making Dungeonmeshi figures. They will make for nice comfy displays and I am looking forward to the rest.

>4. S.H.Figuarts Rei Ayanami
This one surprised me how much I like her. She has really good articulation and all the joints feel nice and smooth. desu I am an Asuka fag and don't really even care that much about Rei so I might have put Asuka on the list instead but I won't be getting her before the year ends.

I paid aftermarket prices for Mirko after hearing so many good things about her but ended up being kind of disappointed. Mine had really tight and squeaky joints which I tried to fix with shock oil but maybe made them too loose. And some are still squeaky. So I just don’t like playing with her

My desk is in pieces while my new bed is disassembled. I've been too busy to deal with it. I'm also only going to meetings, so don't have an "office desk" technically.

Certainly not a "desk" I would keep something I wouldn't want to "walk off" by itself.

The tall tin toy in the back spins. When I was bored on phone calls and especially on zoom, I would flip the button and watch it spin. The two figures are bendies which is why the cape on one is torn, too much handling easily ruins that cheap material and that's what I would fidget with the most.

Happy New Year anons. I picked up this horse figure a few weeks ago in a loose fig bin specifically for this character and buddy of mine wants to do the same but I can't ID it.

It's a 1/12 scale and has a hidden button on the rear left thigh for galloping action.

I'm pretty sure its not a yotijay or any version of Shadowfax that I can find.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!
