Which of these ideas would you guys be most interested in seeing? This is just a brain dump I use to store MOC ideas so I don't forget.

When I put my next Bricklink order together I will plan to add some parts for one or multiple of these ideas if needed.

Yea probably something to the effect of set 60367 but I don't know how big you'd want it. I guess a private jet would be "smaller" but if it's too stubby it might look weird.

Holy heck, whike I wasn't looking someone made one of my MOCs a thread starting image. Hecka cool!

I actually just made a video showing this set uploaded a short bit ago. I plan to take it apart and MOC an even better castle after buying a few more gray Make-It Blocks packs.

I would greatly appreciate any comments or constructive criticism/advice. I want to improve my builds while still maintaining fun playability and within a budgetary scope of limited parts/funds. I know I'm not an expert and could probably stand to learn a thing or two. I just like having fun with my toys and do the best I can.

This and the power loader cargo bay for mech were the two I liked out of your list for original things. Looking forward to what you do
>>
>>11012060
Yeah that's about the right size. I always interpret minifigure scale to make the vehicles slightly larger than Lego typically does. modern Speed Champions is correctly scaled, IMO, but that plane is scaled slightly too small. The IRL footprint would likely be about the same, though.

I'd probably go a bit wider fuselage so I can build up the interior a bit and give the seats room to swivel. Biggest thing I'll need to order are curved sections to build the roof and underbelly out of. I already have a cockpit window I'm set on using.

Do private jets have cargo bays where they'd load on luggage or is that somewhere inside the main cabin?

Bros, how do I make interesting walls? I'm building a bar, and I know the walls in the pic, both interior and exterior, and flat and boring. 9 could attach decorations or whatever to the interior, but that still leaves the exterior dull.

I want to add a partial kitchen and storerooms too.

1x2 blocks with:
Brick detail
Log detail
Vent Detail

1x2 modified plates with railing

1x1 SNOT, lantern holders, or 1x2 SNOT bricks with either flat plates on them, or the chamfered 1x2 plates that look somewhat like gold bars, or vent plates, or vent slope plates

Any of these are commonly seen in building MOCs.

Use color.
Use complimenting colors.
Vary your geometry.
Look at pictures of real buildings.
Perhaps the ceiling is higher over top the bartender section and the wall there is filled with various drink bottles, and it comes down lower over top of the booths.

B8 aside, I think this looks pretty cool foe what its trying to be.

Anyway, I got bored and revamped my space van. Added more blue, changed the inside of the lab area, fixed the shitty satellite, made the door bigger, and made it a 6 Wheeler instead of a 4 Wheeler. Picrel is my hodgepodge Classic space collection. I've been debating buying the Galactic explorer to round it off with a big Jet. Sadly, they were never on sale at any Walmart near me, or else I would have bought several to MOC.

I'm thinking of trying my hand at buying a set on Ali Express. I've never bought off there, but doing a casual search for Lego, I see lots of MOCs for sale and a good number of bootlego minifigures and accessories. I recall an anon on here had bought a few Pirate ships off there. I was gonna grab this Viking ship I saw on the last round of Bricklink sets that didn't get votes in.
It's listed for only $15 (saying it's 72% off for sale) and I can't help but think I'm gonna be ripped off.

Any thoughts?

Really wish we had a Imperial Sloop that was in the last round of voting made into a set. I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

>>
>>11013693
That fuckin rules anon. Got anymore digital builds? I may try my hand at that. What site/app is this?
>>
>>11013721
Well there's basically two apps, Lego Digital Designer and Stud.io. LDD's older and isn't supported any more, but it's simpler and more intuitive to use. Stud.io is newer and is supported by Lego still, but I find it a bit more clumsy to build in it.

I prefer building in LDD, and only using Stud.io for rendering and for newer bricks I cannot find in LDD.

And thank you anon, you can have this while at it. Generic offroader technical; I may or may not have been inspired by the GLA from Generals while building this one.

These are all buildable in real life, and I actually do painstakingly put efforts towards making them playable as well - they should be able to withstand basic play at least. I am able to put out a parts list from the programs I use along with automatic instructions from LDD (which may be a bit off), if you're serious. Keep in mind though I build digitally so I have infinite bricks - while every brick I use exists in real life, some of them are quite rare, like the Sand Green ones. The green one's bricks would cost about 200 from Bricklink, last time I checked.

Here's another MOC, it's basically an unholy amalgamation of a Russian BTR-70 APC and an MTLB artillery tractor.
>>
I'm fucking itching to do another MOC boys but my Bricklink order is still half in shipping and I have like 3 ideas on my immediate backlog already.

Then another part of me wants to try and rebuild my old Bohrok queens that have been in bits forever.

Maybe I should just do something small to fill the time. I watched a video on the Beast of Turin last night and now I've kind of got an itch to do a pre-war race car with a huge engine. Not sure if I have any good wire wheels though.

How are your days going MOCbros?

This are also great.

I'd love instructions, or, honestly a few screenshots with like half the vehicle removed would be enough. I don't want to replicate them entirely but I was planning on doing some sort of minifig scale technical and I'm curious if you used any techniques I don't know about.

If you can be bothered.

It looks like we might have a similar philosophy in design:
Realistic amount of seating and proportions
Play durable
Scaled at least roughly to minifigures
Play functions come second to accurate seating/base vehicle design

Basically a fusion of what most people might call a dust collector (aesthetics over absolutely everything) and a playset (sacrifices a lot of realism to get play functions in or increase durability to the max) - At least that's what it looks like to me, from the outside.
I appreciate that approach. It's also why I like the official speed champions sets as they're some of the closest official sets that approach that philosophy.

That's what makes MOCs special though.

It's taking parts from all over time and space (old parts, new parts, maybe they're across the world, maybe they're across wherever you play) and assembling them into a cohesive physical object that, before you put effort into it, existed only as a very specific set of connections between neurons.

I took apart and redid my Fright Knight inspired Dark Chapel castle. I'll show more photos later of the inside and back, but I made the walls more solid, expanded the interior width and placed some weapon racks and a torch inside. I made the secret door more secret too. It's real fun and I'm really happy with it.

I think it goes real well with these Castle themed GWP sets I've managed to aquire. I had a lot of fun modifying the Majisto's Workshop, expanding the back's chimney abd redoing the interior abd giving new furniture. The modifications I made to the Forest Hideout were very minimal and mostly the addition of foliage. I think the micro scale Black Falcon Fortress in the background works well for a forced perspective, but it's rather hidden from the angle of this shot now that I'm uploading and noticing

Does anyone have any recommendations for technic set instructions to look at to understand how to stabilize gears and hold them in place within a build? Good call, thanks. I really am a brainlet when it comes to Technic building. I am reviewing Technic sets from the early 90s and see back then they just used regular old Tehcnic bricks to build everything. It wasn't until the 1997 that the thin technic liftarms were made and 2000-2001 that the thick liftarms were created. I might just stick to the old style and use the technic bricks and plates. What are the advantages to using the liftarms instead?

>>
>>11014855
Would you need to repeat the mechanism above it? You could just extend the brown wheel's axle upwards.
>>
>>11014855
If the wheels can be in line with each other I'd try a gear case like pic related. The two axles butt against each other inside the gear case but don't connect; the white bushing is just for stability. It's also much easier to stack and design around this mechanism since you're not worrying about the distance between horizonal gears. The only thing is everything is offset from the gray column's grid by half a stud. You can either roll with that or offset the column with jumpers to get the shaft back on-grid.
>>
>>11012289
I thought your original design for this was pretty good, but adding the extra blue snd 2 more wheels makes it look way better. The science lab also looks more coherent now. This could almost padded for an official set. And I said this before, but the shaping on the front of the truck is very impressive.

This will be built inside of a tree and the idea is that the minifigs push a secret branch and parts of the tree move and open. I think can make this work though. Here is a rough build I have made using your great idea with the tree panels in the closed and open positions (1/2)

Hey, good shit. The rotating tree panel idea is fucking sick. Maybe you can transfer the mechanism back down to minifig height by connecting another axle with a chain or a vertical shaft where the gears mesh at 90 degrees.

What I think it most exciting is the Imperial patrol speeder that will be zipping by outside on the street. It may look familiar to battlepack fans....

So yeah, this pub still needs a lot of work. The exterior will be kind of bland colored, but the interior will be renovated garishly but still dingy. Any ideas or constructive criticism is appreciated.

I think I'm finished fiddling with my Majisto GWP MOC. I keep thinking I'm done and then the idea of just one more change or addition pops into my head. If I had more spare parts to work with I would have went with a few different changes. Overall pretty happy with it. I used probably 90% of the original set parts and a bunch of my own small pieces.

I spent a good 6 hours on the thing I'd say, maybe 7. I gotta make dinner and wind down, but I plan to make a video overview tomorrow showing the whole thing off, including fun details to inspire story.

I call it Majisto's Magical Watchtower. It looks pretty awesome from all angles with interesting new details from each side. In this shot here, you can the angled roof and pop out window with box plants. We can also see the main entrance and the very top of the tower. To the side of the watchtower we can see stacks of wood for chopping to put in the fireplace inside.

Your welcome. I am in awe at your castle builds, quite impressive. I feel like a child with my builds compared to stuff like I see you posting. Such grand scope to the builds.

>>11020134
This is breaking my heart, I'm sorry bro. And damn, I was just contemplating buying a big blue plate to try and build my own pirate island on (really disappointed with reviews of that Ominous Isle as a dust collector non-playset). I didn't have any issues with the big green baseplate I bought and built my Fright Knight dark chapel on, but I've encountered numerous bad bricks in all the brick packs I've bought, usually 1-4 bad bricks in a 72 pack, so it still felt worth it for a buck. But having that gamble on a baseplate is way more serious than random bricks. I would say for the price, it still may be worth the risk, but I totally understand tossing the baby out with the bathwater in this case if you so choose.

On a better note, I'm all finished with my MOC. I made a bunch of tiny tweaks today from the photo I posted the other night, then I recorded this video to show off the build. I'm super happy with it and proud of some cool new (to me) techniques I used to make the roof work. I got lots of fun details outside AND inside. I love that the building looks interesting and unique from every angle.

Check out my video overview to see the whole shebang. I appreciate comments and Likes for YouTube shenanigans so it reaches more folks. I mostly just want people to see the thing. I really love how it turned.

Well I hope it all works out with those baseplate. Time will tell I guess. Knock on wood and all that jazz. I sure know I'm counting on it with my Fright Knight Castle, plus I plan to build my own Pirate island on a blue plate when I can find one. I think that's what I'm going to use my Creator Castle for when I get donectribg out all 3 builds plus a few cool free builds on Rebrickable.

I hope you dig the MOC when you get the chance to check out my video and I look forward to hearing thoughts on all I got going on with it. I put lots of fun details in it and really like the exterior look a lot more than the GWP.

My boyfriend is building bags right now from that Ninjago set and he's a lot slower than me. He bought it, so I'm trying not to hog the build and am letting him go at it. He did the first 5 or so bags, putting together the minifigures, a tiny blimp and dragon. He did one bag or two bags of the cave/mountain structure and then baton passed to me. I went and did like 10 bags and built the main cave/mountain structure plus the blacksmith hut. Now he's putting together all the buildings on top. He just finished the bridge and the dock area. The Crane is really simple and cute. I'm thinking of replacing my giant crane in my Eldorado Fortress with a black version of the Crane in this Ninjago set. It feels more like classic Lego and it functions wonderfully. Cook bonus is that crate is has a Waffle tile in it and set had extras, so I actually used that piece in my Majisto MOC haha.

>>11020296
I'm really loving this dude. The pillars, that ramp, the unearthed casket, the crumbling statues and the hiding mummy.

I'm posing my boys to show my boyfriend my scene when he gets home. Really happy with how my setup looks. It's gonna be sick when I build the Creator Castle and MOC up interior details. Not sure if I'll be able to do it once it's built, but I'd like to imagine I could add bunk beds to one tower as living quarters and change the other to a storehouse and Brig. I wanna put a stable in the space of prison and Marchant stand. But before I do that I wanna try out a bunch of the free Rebrickable instructions that set has. last one was dual uhhhh guns. 50 cals I guess or DShK or something of that sort. Anti personnel/anti light vehicle type stuff. not going to go against a tank but enough to clear most vehicles out for troop drop off.

this is a high intensity laser module.

very hot and obviously bright so not good for night ops or anything where the APC needs to be moving a lot, hard to keep the engine and laser both cool under load, better for when you can station the APC in a static location or set it up for guerilla warfare, where the engine and laser aren't both under load at the same time. Good against aircraft (aluminum) and personnel. Shit against anything made of steel.

Electronic warfare module. Multiple modes available.
Mode 1 is simply a directed EMP capable of disrupting most AWACS systems from several dozen miles away. Further in vacuum. it won't operate continuously, only in large pulses for which it needs to charge up.
Mode 2 is a jam mode, can send out pulses in a wide range of bands to overwhelm any one type at a time, of electronic sensors, including but not limited to: cameras, night vision, multiple radio frequencies, radar, and certain types of comms lasers.
Mode 3 is a cloaking mode that destructively interferes with incoming radar signals and lowers their return signature.
Mode 4 is an enhanced listening mode. Pretty much what it says on the tin.
Mode 5 allows the package to serve as a long range transmit and receive radio module, allowing high bandwidth communication or the relaying thereof, of multiple radio bands. useful as a temporary cell or radio tower in war torn areas. usage is of course directional.

okay now that I have written this maybe I won't destroy these modules, this is kind of a neat concept to work into roleplay

this is a non lethal weapons package.

combination sonic and microwave emitter.

makes people feel like they're being cooked from the inside out and also makes them deaf.

the sonic portion of the weapon can be used to disrupt sonar as well and piss off seriously like every bat and dolphin in a 400 mile radius.

Advanced Tactical Missile package (ATM8)

this limited ammunition option allows the APC to punch well above its weight class. it uses little power and requires little cooling, but the missiles are able to use shaped charges to pierce medium armor. all but the heaviest tanks, or tanks with specific safeguards in place are susceptible to these smart missiles.

The downsides are that range is relatively limited as missiles go, but this is still the "ranged" direct fire solution. Only 8 can be carried in the rack, though more may be brought along inside at the cost of crew space, and they must be manually reloaded. it also increases the visual profile of the APC considerably.

the missiles have the ability to use their volatile monopropellant as explosive load, as such they are much stronger at short ranges, but can travel further than the machine gun package and the laser package.

generally more useful for smash and grab type missions against buildings or bunkers than directly against mobile armor.

I didn't post any lore of the ducks yet but they're vassals of the Lion kingdom (hence the lion heads on the castle). They're keen archers and live on the edge of the forest where the forestmen live. The knight with the visor is their baron, the lady is his wife. They're a minor subfaction but they have a strategically important position because the castle guards the only bridge across the river for many miles, that all caravans going between the East and West need to cross.

Can you not access the interiors now? Did you furnish it, but the build enclosed everything in? That's a bummer if you can't get in. Either way, I'd love to see more up close photos of your Castle MOCs there. Your tree house is absolutely gorgeous. Can that one open up at all?

I always try and leave either an open back like classic playsets, or just have large archways and such for getting in. I prefer sets that hinge open in half like Forestmen Hideout or walls that swings open like Wolfpack Tower. Helps for easy access inside and small spaces.

When I got the Eldorado Fortress remake I fell in love, I always wanted the original as a kid. But I had issues with it. I don't care for the clips and prefer a hinge for opening, but my beef was how the cannon was on the platform for the Governor's office. Yes you want to play in the area and yes your hands need to get in there, but it has to look good too. So I just made a REALLY big window to look out of that you can reach into and put another floor above.

Maybe make a few big windows? Or a wall or two that can swing open to reach inside?

When I get more and different parts, I would like to change how my Eldorado Fortress back looks. I just don't t have the pieces to do what I want abd am very limited. I want some 1x1 bricks but have hardly any. All I have is a bunch of 1x2 masonry bricks. But you can see here how I closed the back off and added a ladder to get upstairs. Swing the ladder down and you can access inside with your hand even when set is closed. I will spruce this up a lot more when I get more white bricks

>>11023442
Yeah that is an official set. There's like way too many Lego threads going right now. I don't remember where, but someone asked about progress on that build. Okay one more with it standing up.

It can stand it just has very little traction. I feel like I need to add some sort of rubber pads to its feet and I'm not sure what element I'd use or how I'd implement it. Could just stick some small tires somewhere but it slides really bad on this smooth table then the legs give out. I think the joints could do their job better if it had more grip on its feet.

Thanks. I have a matching pair of bubble cockpits like the one on this guy. I could do something with them too, but I'm not sure what, as I've used up basically all of my interesting trans neon green pieces on this creation alone now so I'd have to find another color scheme probably. This looks awesome. I've been meaning to get into the insectiod theme. The problem with those joints is that they'll get super weak with time, and the insect jet will collapse under its own weight. That's not a fault of your, it's just that Lego makes very shitty joints, and I never hear anyone mention it.

Anyway, I got the Blacktron cruiser yesterday for 40 bucks and decided to make a transport truck for the middle portion of it. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, but I wish the front two wheels matched the back wheels.
>>
>>11025373

>shitty joints
Yeah at least two of these, probably more just two I came across, I had to throw into my discard bin as the joint had a hairline split in the ball socket. These were Bricklink ones but sold as new condition and most felt pretty tight, but the amount of hairline splits I found was appalling.

Still think I can mitigate some droop with some sort of increased friction on the hands. I'm going to look through my parts today and see what I can come up with. I don't know if I have much though, just tires. Maybe wrapping some rubber bands around somehow might help. I also have some old technic hovercraft bumpers but I imagine that would make the feet look too big and clunky.

Got any ideas of small rubber parts that Lego makes?

I know of one, but I have only one of them, those two-axle technic beams that are flexible and made completely of rubber? They're very small but I think I could find a way to attach those without looking too bulky.

>>11025257
Thanks anon. I only have one small Insectoids official set but I have always loved their aesthetic and color scheme.

Some of the bigger sets had a tail piece that lights up and makes noises if you push buttons on it. Similar to the space shuttle set that was out around the same time period.
>>
>>11025411
>Got any ideas of small rubber parts that Lego makes?
Honestly, there's nothing you can do to avoid the joints weakening. I've tried a bunch of things. I'm not really sure what your plan is with the rubber bands though. If you're trying to increase friction between the pieces legs and the floor, you can use a brick with a technic pin hole and use pic related to help prevent sliding around. But if you're trying to increase friction between the joints, the only thing that will help is using something like a cost of floor polish on the ball socket. Like I said in my other post, Lego makes really shitty joint pieces that degrade over time no matter what you do. I say this as someone who has MOC'd a ton of mechs.

No, I'm not trying to increase joint friction. I know that's an exercise in futility. If I wanted to do that I'd put a thin layer of school glue or hot glue in the joint, or like you said floor polish or something, but that's obviously a destructive process and takes away most of the point of Lego in the first place, in that you can always disassemble and rearrange parts again later. I want to stick to official techniques only or maybe only the most mild of illegal ones.

I just want to increase floor friction. It stands on thin plastic claws that barely have any contact, or rounded disk pad things, and on my smooth table they slide out from under him. Increasing the traction would help this. Like as it is right now, I can put it on carpet and it isn't nearly as finnicky. The joints are OK for now as far as tightness.

>picrel
Yeah I forgot about those things. That's easily the best bet. Next Bricklink order I'll toss some on. Even one per leg would be a massive improvement, though 2 would be ideal.

Closet anon back again with today's build.

Decided to do another bug-inspired build, this time being designed much more as a machine than a far out insect bio-mech-ship thing.

The lore I have for this one is that after the initial peaceful meeting of LoM martians and the humans, the Mars Mission aliens, which were a separate, violent race present on Mars, went to war with the humans after they started mining stuff.

The LoM martians were a small group and outnumbered severely by the MM aliens, though possessed superior technology.

Their numbers were reduced to near-zero after the MM tried to eradicate them, since they took the side of the humans.

This is one of the machines developed by the few remaining LoM Martians, with the help of the humans, to try and defend their territory.

Hey, that's my lore, buddy.
Way I figure it, though, the MM martians didn't declare war on the humans but rather declared war on and started ethnically cleansing their peaceful cousins, after which the humans intervened.

That's fair. I also pretend that the vehicle uses some stolen tech from the MM aliens hence the cockpit windows and more black than typical LoM vehicles.

Flight mode. The front part tilts down slightly to clear the guns.

>Even one per leg would be a massive improvement, though 2 would be ideal.
Do you mean two to increase the friction? Fun fact, the surface area doesn't actually change the total force of friction. Because if you use twice as many, each one is taking half as much weight so they would only have half as much friction each.

Does your family/friends know about your hobby? What was their reaction?
I know I'm a fag for giving a shit but I get this urge to buy random bricks so I can build a small scenery with minifigs but I don't know if I'd get perceived as childish (considering that if you have any hobbies at all besides excessive drinking and cars, you will look like a weirdo).

>Does your family/friends know about your hobby? What was their reaction?
My wife doesn't care, my kids occasionally MOC with me, but they're getting to the age where phones and friend groups are more important than toys. My nephews think it's the coolest shit ever and we build together a lot. My nieces are the same ages as my kids, so they don't give a shit. Though one of my nieces legit thought I was unemployed and played with Lego all day while my wife worked to support my habit. Mom, brother, in-laws and friends don't care, but my dad thinks my designs are amazing. But he's an engineer, so that's probably why.

My blog aside, who cares what people think? You're not out gambling money away or spending it on whores and drugs. I have picrel coming in the mail today and my nephew is excited to build some Spaceships for the crew. Share your hobbies with your friends and family and you just might get some fellow builders.
>>
>>11026282
Yes, everyone I know that actually matters knows most of my hobbies, including Legos.

Parents think it's cool that I have the income and free time to buy toys for myself and enjoy them.
Partner is into them as well and gets wet at watching me do anything creative or passionately so it doesn't matter if it was Lego or underwater basket weaving her reaction would be the same.
Other family members have literally given me their old Lego because I am in good standing with everyone and they know Lego is one of my hobbies and know the bricks will be taken care of and enjoyed if I have them.

You should just do what you want, be ready for people to judge you, but just keep doing what you're doing and the ones that are gonna be a piece of shit about it will slowly fall away over time and you'll end up only surrounded by the people you need to be.

My nigga. Baddad is based even if castle is better than space and always will be faggot.
>did you get the younger one the plushie space alien yet?
My wife and kid and I enjoy plastic building bricks at different levels and in different ways but we all enjoy it. If legos weren’t fun they wouldn’t be so popular… which somehow makes them less fun?
>>
>>11026344
>even if castle is better than space and always will be faggot
Castle is for dick slurping homos, Space will always be the superior theme.

>did you get the younger one the plushie space alien yet?
They both said the alien was ugly. My youngest got the pink spaceman (she named her Rosie), my oldest asked for $25 in Robux... can't win em all I guess.

>My wife and kid and I enjoy plastic building bricks at different levels and in different ways but we all enjoy it.
That's pretty cool that your wife enjoys Lego. Mine thinks the mechs I build are cool, but is so-so on my vehicles (understandable). She doesn't build anything though. Your wife MOCs?
>>
>>11026433
She does not moc and will obsess over finding parts for sets that are mixed into the bins. She likes to build but hates to deviate from the instructions. We used to do puzzles and the she got me the ship in a bottle our first Christmas and we build with the kid now. We take them apart she puts them back together as best she can while I stand there knowing the parts she’s looking for are currently riding on a pirate ship downstairs. Space sucks but the blue stuffie space guy is now Baby Benny in our house. Good call on those Lego movie sets now’s the time to get them because they haven’t all gone through the roof.
>>
>>11026441

My wife is OCD like that too. Still pretty based that she at least builds shit.

>>11026441

Sounds like you have a Space fan in your house. I just hope you don't push your faggy castle stuff on your kid. He already has better taste than you.

>>11026441
>Good call on those Lego movie sets now’s the time to get them because they haven’t all gone through the roof.
The prices are already through the roof. I wanted to build up my classic space army and really wanted a pink one too. Bricklink prices for them are going up, so I had to bite the bullet and order thst movie set. I'm kinda pissed, because they were on clearance at my Walmart for the longest time at 5 bucks a pop. I ashamed to say I spent 40 dollars on that Benny's Space Squad set. Still cheaper than parting out Spacemen on Bricklink.

yo legofags Ive always loved making my own figs of characters I like out of "purist" parts. Im making a chainsawman moc, very small one and wanted to make a Reze/bombdevil. Not sure if this counts as moc building but wondering where an experienced builder would start with making a head for my bombdevil here picrel. I wanted to put it on a minifig so it wont be perfect, I get that.

Also why folks here gotta be so antagonistic? Like I get it, it's 4chan and trolling is a thing. But why folks purposefully being jerks to each other in a MOC thread that's all about having fun with our bricks? Like, who cares if someone wants minifigures of their favorite thing? At least they are playing and having fun. Same goes for dudes who build mecha, castles or even the guy who builds weirdly sexy anime brick girl. I don't know Chainsawman, but I see it on bookshelf end caps at Target so I doubt it's anything to clutch pearls at on 4chan haha.

But seriously, fuck Castle. I would like to see more mechs though.

how many parts do you have?

I want to start making MOCs. Mainly robots in this scale. Should I get used to doing it digitally or do I order a bunch of parts I think I will need like joints and bracket pieces and then try to make something out of that?

I got some lego sets but they are mainly bigger builds and it would be inefficient to dissasemble them for the smaller pieces.

I've built a ton of mechs and never used a digital program for it. Just buy joints, watch some tutorials on YouTube, and experiment.
>>

>when did this split off from lego general?
When it became obvious to even the dullest retard that the general was never going to be a place to do anything but shill licenseslop and TOTALLY GEEK OUT over EPIC DIDNEY WARS ARMYBUILDING... then we still waited like two more years to make a thread for people who actually like lego because it's /toy/
