Beast Kingdom's own license would more than likely only allow them to sell in their general region (Taiwan, Hong Kong, China etc). What Spinmaster and McFarlane each own are different portions of the overall master license for retail product. Their intended places to be sold are in stuff like your typical Walmarts, Targets, Toys R Us etc and whatever international variants exist around the world. If you're looking for a company who might get the license if McFarlane negs, you need to look at companies like Hasbro, Mattel, Jakks, Jazwares etc.

It is my belief that if DC were to return the DC collector license to Mattel and require them to adopt the Masterverse house style, the outcome would likely surpass the current offerings from McFarlane. This perspective comes from an individual who possesses a considerable collection of McFarlane products. Additionally, since the figures would be 7 inches in height, this would not represent a significant departure from McFarlane's scale. Furthermore, many of the peculiarities, perplexing decisions, and subpar reuse of components that do not align with the characters could be mitigated.
