He's so slick that the jar wouldn't even break, let alone give off any resistance at his entrance. The jar would send a chill betwixt his starfish, gently filling him up but not too much, he now letting out a slight groan. Then it'd pop right out, the brim dripping with his gluteal essence, not even close to reaching his fudge brewery as his starfish puckered in anticipation for any visitor. Maybe he'd hitch a ride, find some no good scoundrel in need of a place to hide. He's entrenched himself with many goblin-folk, acting as some sort of sanctuary until the heat died down, they having to wrangle themselves out of his muggy confines, then crawling back in to retrieve their lesser kin. One far-removed goblin tried to monetize his hole, but a healthy flow of nightmares and occupants with unclipped nails tossed that option out the window. If only someone would come soon...

I'm curious about Antonblast's anti-piracy methods; so far I'm aware of the frequent crashing and the player teleporting back to Boiler City instead of progressing. I would have thought the devs added additional preventive measures in rooms accessed via the debug console, but the game doesn't have one. Did they stuff an insta-death enemy somewhere in the first level?

Limb system, including point of contact and spreading over time only to adjacent locations, plus different TFs counteracting each other. Probably the same granularity as Flexible Infection had. Also curing the TF wouldn't remove the changes, just stop the spread (and possibly restoring the affected parts to baseline functionality if reduced). Reinfection of the same type would progress through previously affected limbs faster, but would still need some time to "reactivate" the active transformation.

I think the key to making good transformation mechanics is to make them match the kind of story you want to tell. If you keep telling the player that their transformation is shameful and humiliating, but it doesn't actually impact interacting with NPCs, it's not going to be good. If the player is supposed to be hopeless to stop it, they should actually be unable to stop it.

I think for most purposes, a linear game where you transform according to story flags rather than having a sandboxy transformation system is better.

There are good examples. I liked cards of change a lot even though it's short. It creates a strong atmosphere where it feels like everything is set up to make the player character feel more comfortable with their transformation. Cattle castle is also good, and makes transforming feel like a serious hindrance as you rush through the dungeon. I'd recommend magical camp too, but I never finished it, and the dev is never going to finish it either.
