From what I've heard they put together a task force to determine what life would be like in the future and based their design decisions off that. Some nut suggested that the future of fashion was disposable clothing, hence the boring looking jumpsuits with sewn-in shoes. I much prefer the TOS approach of just assuming whatever was cool in the present day would be common place in the future, which leads to military officers wearing Beatle Boots and tight-fitting pants.

Anyone else think Fortnite using gory R-rated horror film characters is kinda fucked up?
I'm pretty open about parents buying merch and exposing kids vaugely to these characters. Yet that's on the parents.
This is a PG-13 game with R rated content. It seems like an underhanded coprorate way to expose kids to adult films.
Then again I remember playing the Friday The 13th game for NES at a cousin's house. i vaugely knew who Freddy and Jason were in the 90s as a kid.
I dunno if I'd let a 13 year old play Fortnite these characters. My friend with kids plays Fortnite, but they are a bit young for the main game.
