WEEELLLLLLLLLLLLL it wuz, as it were, a veritible GARDEN of EDEN. Missus Beauregard was happy. Tha field hands were contented, or at least as contended as they could be, given they circumstances *heh*. The children were happy, and we even hosted a small dance or two. The Salad Days, in those days. That is, until I acquired that there BUCK.

That Buck, as ah was sayin, was a WILLFUL sort. An' ah KNEW, that if he was to put his ideas about amongst the others, that it would be destructive to our harmonious house. So after less than three days of his guff, I resolved right then and there, that ah would take it upon mahself to BREAK that there Buck, and to make it known to the others that ah BROKE that Buck. The missus was none too happy, of course, but sometimes, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. And after all, he was a... FINE, and STRONG Buck.

The final episode is a manic fever dream, but in a way that I really liked. But the few episodes leading up to it felt like the show was starting to run out of steam for sure.

Nobody's even 100% sure what order you're supposed to watch the show on n.
>>
>>217412036
I watched the 22 episode order from Youtube since the entire series is free there. It made the Chimes of Big Ben the 2nd episode though, which feels like it really should have been saved for midseason.
>>217412013
Is it really that good? I always sort of figured it was just a parody of those 70s animated adventure series but edgy, so just edgy subversion but with better writing.
>>217411998
Yes, Outer Limits has some stand out episodes as well. Danger Man isn't esoteric and is pretty straight spy thriller stuff, but it is very well written and engaging throughout most of its episodes.

>>217411974
I may try The Maxx it seems up my alley. I was disappointed in Severance. A lot of it is still really good, but it just feels like it has to constantly remind you of what its own themes are, and it doesn't really have much mystery that interests besides that. It seems like its too self-conscious or something, it knows it wants to be a mind-bending mindfuck show, and so throws in surreal imagery to keep the effect, but without building to anything interesting beyond the idea of multiple selves and splitting as caused by our current work/life culture. If they end up making Melchik a good guy on the side of the Severed floor by season 3, I'll be gravely disappointed.

I think she was cute in Marty Supreme but her character had a much more homely look there that gave her some charm. Women overglamorizing themselves makes them look like shit most of the time, whether they're rich or poor.

Probably an oversight, but if not it suggests Na'vi stay fertile for at least the better part of a century.

Again, if that was considered a form of immortality then why don't we already see it happening irl? Old wealthy people would lobby to change and open up human cloning laws so that they could clone themselves into younger bodies. Every weirdo who gets their body cryogenically frozen would go the cloning route instead.
Likely answer: it's understood not to be a form of immortality, and there's little reason to do it if you simply have children who can inherit your stuff

Good spot /trek/.

These people have literally never watched Star Trek. Or they did and this is literally what they managed to take away from it. We've proven Alex Kurtzman only watched the TNG movies. And also failed to understand them.
