How do I play the original Fallouts on my phone
>>217385652It's so lame. Imagine being able to set a story in a US 200 years from now that was destroyed, mutated and new nations form out of it, and you get to build new cultures and civilizations out of this new American wasteland.Think of all the new cultures you can have. Like in Fallout 2, literal nomadic spear chucking tribals who reject technology due to sins of the past, new religions that worship nuclear power, new nations that are a twisted mashup of "legends" of cultures that existed pre-war.Instead of that"It's a wasteland of people who only live in shacks and they eat fleas"Bravo Bethesda.

>>217385855I love how brutal the whole fight feels even though there's not much happening at all. Keeping it on a smaller scale and avoiding CGI does wonders to make it look believable.

She is 29 years old in real life with nipple piercings, a kid and a divorce. Who thought it was a good idea to cast her as cherished and beloved video game character Lara Croft?
Feminists
>>217385944Classic Lara was canonically 28 in TR1 and got older with each sequel.

Paramount has just put YOU in charge of Star Trek and given you the budget and authority to do whatever the hell you want with the franchise. What do you do, Anon?
>>217385890Doesn't matter. And I know it doesn't matter because I didn't give a shit about Star Trek until the early 2010s when basically nothing was going on with the franchise. I just heard TNG was good and watched it and went from there.Did it matter to me that Star Trek's original syndication hype was 40 years before that? No, I could care less and didn't even know its history when I started watching. But it was rumors of quality writing that brought me to Star Trek and that's what I found. It wasn't a marketing campaign or some demographic targeting shit. It wasn't JJ Trek dumbing it down because I thought that shit was totally bland and uninteresting. I came because I heard it was good.If you make a good show with quality writing, people will come.Even a fucking obscure Chinese show from 2010 has become wildly popular on here because of its incredible writing.
>>217385804Anon that was three writers strikes ago.
>>217382050Eugenics Wars.I want to see Khan drop himself naked into Ethiopia, with nothing to his name or even a name. To prove to himself and to humanity that he can speed run civilization to become powerful enough to conquer the world. If you have the will, you can literally do anything. Then build out the franchise with later movies.
>Set design faithful to the old ones (with functional, but aesthetic lighting)>Hire respectable, white male science fiction writers with strict rules against overtly involving current events.>No contemporary verbiage, people talk like adults>Hire serious actors
>>217382050Honestly, I would make a show that isn’t overly “cinematic” or serious. OG trek was a little silly, and that’s the heart of sci-fi in general. The more serious and doomsday everything is, the more it leans into just a space opera. I’d cut back on the amount of lens flare in every shot (seriously, every shot in SNW and Academy is like a flashbang), stop making every set shiny as hell, and go back to practical makeup for (most of) the alien races, where it’s feasable. Also, I want them to hire writers who actually know star trek. Idc if it’s old trek writers or fanfic writers, anyone whose actually passionate about the series and wants to make a good show. I’d also erase Discovery and Academy. I fuckin hate “The Burn” it makes no sense and isn’t sci-fi at all, it’s just a lazy excuse for Kurtzman to write a dystopian trek. Overall, i just want something that feels more like older episodic trek with lower stakes and less of the modern netflix-adjacent overbudget cinematic look. I miss the look of TNG and DS9. Oh, and if i had to reboot any series, it’d be LDS. Hot take but it’s the best nutrek series and the only one that left me wanting more of it. The bar isn’t very high there, though.
Holy f*cking kino
>>217385758The virus is probably man-made, dunno about comics and interviews and shit but it makes sense to use it as a biological weapon in some country and then wait for all the infected to die within a month. The thing is that they used Carlyle's infected template to come up with the idea that the virus has evolved and now they can eat and drink. What really surprised me in the last movie is that they are actually cannibals too, which brings a lot of questions. I hope they just didn't take that route so there is no chance that Jimmy could have survived as an infected, it would be too retarded.
8/10 not as good as the first one but still very enjoyable. It was more funny thoughNeeded more Spike.
>>217384690Its crazy how many people just want Night of the Living Dead remade for the 825th time. Like there aren't already about 5 B-movies a year that do this anyway
>>217384916So you're just saying you didn't want them to make the movie at all because you're a pedantic lorefag?
>>217385983Funny how the Romero trilogy also dealt with zombies becoming smarter over time

>I don’t really have any regrets. Well, maybe a bit of regret about Solo: A Star Wars Story. I brought Larry Kasdan in on, and we were so excited about that idea. And then when you’re into something and you realize fundamentally, conceptually, you cannot replace Han Solo, at least right now.>DEADLINE: Harrison Ford is a hard act to follow…>KENNEDY: As wonderful as Alden Ehrenreich was, and he really was good, and is a wonderful actor, we put him in an impossible situation. And once you’re in it and once you’re committed, you’ve got to carry on. I think I have a bit of regret about that, but not about the moviemaking and filmmaking. I don’t have regrets about that. I just think that conceptually, we did it too soon.https://deadline.com/2026/01/kathleen-kennedy-exit-interview-1236665253/
>>217384405That's like a vibe, like a single shot.I guess he uses it three times in 2009 Star Trek>Driving up to the Enterprise under construction>Flying up to the space station>The sterile, awkward bridge energy after Kirk's crash out, followed immediately by a completely destroyed fleet. The movie falters into TV action territory with the planet laser, the melodrama, the alien warehouse level fisticuffs. But, well, you would compare it to the TNG movies so...

Why is there such a disconnect between Award Shows and actual movie Audiences? This graph is basically inverse from the box office
