EVERY SINGLE ELF reincarnates in Valinor if they're killed, no matter where it takes place. That's the workaround around the fact they were supposed to never die in the first place.

The exceptions are/were:
>All Noldor who followed Feanor and Fingolfin to Middle-Earth, though this was lifted after Morgoth's defeat.
>Feanor's mother, who for unknown reason refused reincarnation, to the point her husband is the only Elf in existence who was allowed to re-marry.
>Feanor himself who refuses to contrite himself. However, at the end of the world he is prophesized to reclaim the Silmarils and this time give them away willingly.

Major reasons for FaA underperformance (in comparison to TWoW, because on its own its performance is not a flop at all) are these:

For Opening Weekend:
>4 years of time between TWoW and FaA vs 13 years between A1 and TWoW; some people naturally fell off after watching TWoW
>Lesser marketing input; it was actually less pushed than dogshit like Superman
>Audience in general is getting more and more jaded towards theater experience, even in comparison to 2022; streaming services rule the ball

For legs:
>It looked too similar to FaA, there was absolutely lesser incentive to rewatch it multiple times
>It was genuinely more dark and scary than TWoW and even A1. it is absolutely closer to Terminator 1 than to Terminator 2

Minor reasons:
>Zootopia 2 made a bank in China, taking away a lot of family repeated viewings; families just tend to rewatch kid friendly furry cartoon than rather dark FaA
>Script of FaA is objectively rougher than TWoW one. I have watched it 3 times, and during all three viewings i noted moment when the movie just didn't flow as well as TWoW. Despite it being great movie still, it absolutely was rougher experience than A1 or TWoW, so it also might prevent some more nitpicky viewers from rewatching it.

>closer to terminator 1 than to terminator 2
A massively glowing endorsement. No wonder I preferred 3 to 2. In ways it's even above 1.
>>
>>217409664
>>It was genuinely more dark and scary than TWoW and even A1. it is absolutely closer to Terminator 1 than to Terminator 2

I stand by this btw. FaA is a movie that some parent wont bring their kids for (again). Some Mangkwan scenes would genuinely scare the shit out of the kids. Parents would see Lo'ak trying to shoot himself and note "Oh, this is pretty adult movie". There also were quite disturbing imageries like Kiri orgasming while saving Spider or Jake attempting to murder Spider.
All of this is cool as fuck, just in case, and that is what basically most Avatar haters asked for in a sequel, but it will objectively prevent a lot of repeated viewings.

It's incredible how The Room had a custom-made caddy which allowed them to shoot in digital and film at the same time. Apparently, even though this is a hilariously bad idea and a waste of money and time, in a way it was ahead of its time and helped them in production in some way.

I have an idea for an awesome movie but even if I could write a screenplay I wouldn't know what to do with it. I'd rather just sell my awesome idea for a million bucks and someone who knows what they're doing can make the movie
>>
>>217408265
Well if it's good, maybe you can find an agent, and they can pitch it to studios, and if one likes it they'll buy it for some cash. Not millions for a new writer, but some money. Whether it will get turned into a movie or not is out of your hands.
>>
>>217408365
it's about an apocalyptic event and the few people that survive it. it's dark. very dark. maybe even too dark
>>217408435
thanks
>>
>>217408722
It's been done before. I'm not saying it can't or won't be done again, but there's nothing really special about that concept. This is a good thing actually, since studios love to buy "_______ but with ______." Also, once you sell it, there's no guarantee it won't be filmed and edited differently than what you intend, or even rewritten entirely.
