>Fede Alvarez announced this week he won’t direct the sequel to Romulus

>Jeff Sneider: This whole ‘we’re going to pass the torch” .. you have been talking and planning this for the last year. The torch got passed over him. Ridley Scott might be bigfooting him. Fede wanted to use Michael Fassbender, and Ridley said no because “I may want to come back and direct a new Alien,” and if so “I want to be the one who brings Fassbended back and uses him. Obviously, who is going to win that clash, Ridley. It was creative differences, let’s put it that way.

Based from Ridley to be honest. Alvarez could only make an Alien movie that just regurgitates everything the franchise has already done. Romulus was enjoyable but did absolutely nothing new or interesting. Whatever Ridley has in mind is bound to be more thought provoking.

i dont give a fuck who directs it or who else is IN it, i just want more sweaty spaeny kino.
>>
>>214427500

While i certainly don´t like the direction Ridley took with Prometeus and Covenant i say there is nothing wrong with him saying no. Alien is his baby and if anyone´s going to fuck it up it´s gotta be him.

>INB4 he already did

Sure, that´s why those movies are pretty much irrelevant (some would say merely controversial but i disagree) but still it´s his. Stories are not meant to become ever expanding universes, they are meant to have a beginning and an end, and maybe serve to explain something about our world (not politics) or human condition. He doesn´t need to pass the torch he needs to take it with him to the grave.

Thats a dream come TRUE. This daft cunt already ruined enough movies. Good riddance!

-core is a /mu/ term for fusing genres with hardcore, a type of punk music.
Electronic music and hip-hop coopted hardcore to refer to particularly aggressive styles in their respective genres, having nothing to do with punk

Using it to refer to an aesthetic other than purely sonic is wrong. For example Cottagecore doesn't exist unless it describes traditional feudal/colonial music fused with hardcore punk

Fallouts inspiration comes from a plethora of media, but it most heavily draws from Mad Max, why the leather jacket outfit is literally looking like Mad Max's outfit.

Breaking Bad is a live action "graphic novel"/GTA-style story. Accept it as that and enjoy it or don't.

>REMINDED OF YOU
>REMINDED OF YOU
>*Walt crashes to the ground and lands on one knee with his fist in the ground in a power pose*
>>
He could have at least shown Walt dive behind the safe or something, since he knew what was coming, it could be written like Walt barely made it. He had cancer after all and would take the risk. Maybe even not have Tuco there yet, just some other lower level guy. He could kill everyone and take off with the gear, and have it so the Cartel aren't sure who did it with Walt staying in the shadows. Make the 'Heisenberg' persona develop a little earlier. This scene was far too retarded for a show that is supposedly so well written.

>throwing it on the ground causes an explosion for some reason
That's exactly what fulminates do, dumbass.
And I don't know how powerful the explosion of that size of crystal would be, but the stupid part is that when mercury fulminate explodes, the mercury content is released as mercury cyanide which is exactly as bad to breathe in as it sounds. They'd all be dead from the poison, forget about the shockwave.

Almost all the comics posted here would lose 99% of their charm in a LA or animated adaptation. The paneling and artstyle make these stories work or at least add to it. Brain dead normalfag fans of a respective comic or manga don’t understand this. Makes me glad Calvin and Hobbes get an animated adaptation

I honestly don't get it. Sure, I heard that the show was good but why would it be the basis for any political action?
I don't demand either that the government should be taking action against what's basically a highly organised society of assassins because I saw John Wick.

>Batman is rich. He is rich and has funneled that money into his crime fighting enterprises through shell companies and false identities. And being someone who prepares for multiple eventualities, as demonstrated in both comics AND TV, where in he's actually utilized his money to solve a situation or bought something that he wouldn't carry with him, which would include say diapers for a rescued baby or coffee to keep himself awake. Plus his tendency to accessorise his crime fighting tools to fit his motif, from something understandable like a fearsome vehicle to something silly like his projectiles resembling a bat and the aforementioned usage of shell companies to aquire items. WHAT, EXACTLY, IS SO RIDICULOUS AND ANGER-INDUCING ABOUT A BAT CREDIT CARD?!
