Given what I have here, I'd disagree anyway because like I mentioned the landscape is very much relatively simple compared to the focus of the piece, the center cowboy and the cloud mass. Looking at it now, it seems the second cowboy has less detail than the other, too.
Modern crap artists HATE that anyone, with any level of knowledge, at any time, can just deeply enjoy and appreciate and be moved by a Beethoven piece. They HATE that you don't need to read a soppy "artist's statement" or critic's analysis or be embroiled in 300 different artists "body of work" to be able to get a giggle out of their shit. Smallville was comicshit to appeal to guys, plus hot guys to appeal to girls. Supernatural was horror to appeal to guys, plus hot guys to appeal to girls. It was somewhat similar to the marketing of Charmed: girls like witches, plus some cheesecake of the actresses to appeal to guys. After season 5, Supernatural decided that their audience was women which is why the new show runner was a woman. I think that late 90's early 00's horror boom was over and the 'fantasy for girls' with Twilight and Vampire Diaries was picking up so they decided to pivot to that.
