>Bobby, may I share something with you?
>A vision I had in my sleep last night - as distinguished from a dream which is mere sorting and cataloguing of the day's events by the subconscious. This was a vision, fresh and clear as a mountain stream - the mind revealing itself to itself. In my vision, I was on the veranda of a vast estate, a palazzo of some fantastic proportion. There seemed to emanate from it a light from within - this gleaming radiant marble. I had known this place. I had in fact been born and raised there. This was my first return, a reunion with the deepest wellsprings of my being. Wandering about, I noticed happily that the house had been immaculately maintained. There had been added a number of additional rooms, but in a way it blended so seamlessly with the original construction, one would never detect any difference. Returning to the house's grand foyer, there came a knock at the door.
>My son was standing there. He was happy and care-free, clearly living a life of deep harmony and joy. We embraced - a warm and loving embrace, nothing withheld. We were in this moment one.
>My vision ended. I awoke with a tremendous feeling of optimism and confidence in you and your future. That was my vision of you. I'm so glad to have had this opportunity to share it with you. I wish you nothing but the very best, always.

Why are people so retardedly myopic? You don't need star trek holodeck "computer, generate me a hollywood movie" tier AI for it to significantly impact filmmaking. The way you could use AI is to pre-viz a big action set piece, have AI generate a detailed version based on that, and then have somebody manually do some small SFX tweaks. All of the sudden what took a team of 50 effects guys, can now be done by 5 people in 1/3 of the time. A workflow like this is already being experimented with on certain productions and it's only gonna become more common.

>It’s kind of shocking to see these kind of accolades for — I’m sorry, it’s not a very good movie — because of its political ideology, and it’s so obvious that’s what they’re responding to, why it’s considered a masterpiece, the greatest film of the decade, the greatest film ever made. Because it really aligns with this kind of leftist sensibility.
>He also took aim at The New York Times’ Manohla Dargis, who called the film “important.” Ellis fired back: No, it is not. It has really not read the room. It has not read the room at all about what’s going on in America.
>There’s a liberal mustiness to this movie that already feels very dated by October 2025. Very dated. And it just doesn’t read the room. You know, it reads a tiny corner of the room, but it does not read what is going on in America.

What's the point of all the rescued humans to become martial arts masters when Morpheus himself says nobody can beat agents? Wouldn't it make more sense to learn infiltration, stealth, and guerilla tactics? Maybe pre-download all the phone booth locations into everyone's brains before a mission, just in case. Make exit plans beforehand. Disguises. Distractions. Use hand grenades and place traps to cover your escape in case you get caught.

Is brute force really the best way? Maybe for Neo, but what about all the others?

>What's the point of all the rescued humans to become martial arts masters when Morpheus himself says nobody can beat agents?

Because they don't always fight agents, retard. They usually fight cops and security guards. Did you even watch the movie? Neo and Trinity wiped out an entire special forces squad before the agents had any idea they were in the building.
>>
>>215142993
>why don't they just kill millions of their own people bro

Besides, the Architect made it clear that the machines are willing to let the humans die if Neo turned down their offer. "There are levels of survival we are willing to accept."

The reason sober people are so dull and joyless is because thats what drugs reduce you to when they're not in your system. They elevate the dopamine bar so high that there's absolutely nothing your brain can do on its own to come close anymore. That's why people become hyper religious, or like steveo, hyper industrious, they have bury themselves in some constant pursuit of fulfillment, because the only happiness they can find is in the abstract, i.e. "I have family, career, God, etc. in my life, these good things surely mean my life is good." Life becomes an exercise in convincing yourself you're happy, and it looks like a charade from the outside because it is. The people who can't find this or lose it somehow tend to just an hero because it's the only other escape from the empty hell you're left with.

tl;dr hard drugs fry your brain beyond repair and the only escape is never doing them in the first place
