How is that every aspect of filmmaking from CGI, cinematography, music, sound design, lighting, costume, set design, etc continues to advance and get better and better while writing has regressed to a level that makes you question if it was written by a primary school student?
It used to be that if a film was badly written people didn't go to it. But then Disney perfected marketing to the point where the quality of the movie is kind of irrelevant, people would go to see it if you spent enough money telling them to go see it. You need good visuals to market a movie, for trailers and billboards and viral tiktok clips, whatever, but you don't necessarily need good writing.
