I have read some books on the mafia (the book goodfellas is based on, Donnie Brasco, the Five Families) and the thing with these guys is they never stop making money by whatever means necessary. They will make counterfeit 20s and buy shit from gas stations to make 15 bucks, sell cigs for a few extra profits, hijack trucks and sell stolen seafood for cheap, all the way to running construction companies that have concrete and window replacement contracts with the cities and states and that are worth millions. They never stop hustling.
