gen x was a hugely psyopped generation getting drugs and cultural marxism shot into their brain since they were 15, I feel kinda bad for them.
>>
>>217368391
Think of it this way. If you're working blue collar and do something wrong, it can be explicitly corrected. The error has to objectively exist. In office jobs your boss can just not like you and nitpick made up bullshit like 'muh attitude'

In our defense we thought the world was going to end post 1999, when it didn't we just found ourselves existing.

Boomers will only transfer the power when they die, they hold onto it tightly. We could take it from them, but it would only lead to the same results we've seen when boomers try to take power from other boomers. The grand strategy is to wait and bide our time and not repeat the mistakes of the boomers.

Zoomers don't complain as much as milennials and seem show the same stoic indifference to the entropy of existence as Gen X does. We will see.

It's crazy, I went through this recently, and it sucks. Knowing that she'll birth another man's child and that they'll live together, experience life together, have various memories, develop a strong unbreakable bond between each other, and be together forever. It hurts bro. It doesn't get easier.

You unironically are too woke or weren't paying attention if you think Varang lost agency or that Quaritch became Ash Sully.
Quaritch approached her with a deal: the thunder and fire of sky demon weapons in exchange for muscle taking down Sully. This is an incredible deal for a pyro with a bunch of poorly-equipped goons.
Once they capture Sully, Quaritch gives her access to Bridgehead and its resources. Neytiri comes in and earns a grudge holding a knife to her kuru and escaping.
Now Quaritch wants to go get Sully and Neytiri, and also reinforce the whaling fleet trying to slaughter hundreds of Eywa's precious mother and calf Tulkun communing at the Spirit Tree. No doubt other Eywa-worshipping Na'vi will show up to defend, and once they're all routed and the whales are slaughtered the Spirit Tree itself will be exposed with aquatic sky demon weapons on hand to fire into it. You think Varang wouldn't have gone on her own?
Quaritch leads Varang along because he's giving her shit as part of a good deal, doing everything she wants to do and she's dating him. The whole film after the scene in their tent is like an extended romantic date giving her gifts and committing blasphemies, at least until things go sour at the end.

Biblical Imaginery

-"Eywa" = "Yahweh", a simple reversal of the abrahmic sky daddy god.
-The character name "Grace Augustine" is fully loaded with christianity. "Grace" is a specific theological state where you get right with god. Augustine was a theologian and saint.
-In the third movie, one of the Ash people pokes Quaritch in his obliques with a spear, drawing a bit of blood. This is like the Lance of Longinus for Evangelion fans, or: the holy spear.
-Varang's tight little horizontal binder is sometimes worn with a vertical stripe of paint or paints, clearly forming a cross.
-The third film specifically makes general appeals to faith and belief, especially the opening argument between Jake and Ney (and Jake really ought to know better, since he lived the proof of his god at the climax of the first film).
-In the first film, when the much larger Neytiri cradles Jake's weak human body, this pose is taken directly from the Pieta (mary cradles the dead jesus). The Michelangelo sculpture is the best known example, but it's a genre thing with other instances.
-"Tulkun". The sound of this word is suspiciously close to the jewish theological concept of "tikkun". In rough strokes, the jewish/kabbalastic notion of tikkun is: the world is broken and wrong, and various troublesome things in the world (qlippoth) obstruct our clear view of reality. Therefore, we should endeavor to repair the broken world that we inhabit.
-And then of course, the Na'vi are waging jihad against the occupying humans.
-Jake is short for Jacob
-Jacob took his brother Esau's inheritance by wearing goatskins on his arms so his father would think he was Esau
-Jake literally wears his brother's Avatar and takes his place in the program
-Jake Sully, the father of the tribe, taking his son Spyder out to kill him before changing his mind by a revelation
You can stretch it any way you like, but the abrahamist stuff is a major informer.

I don't really want to jump on that bandwagon, but I hope AI produces kino revenge. Gives us a semblance of stories we need and deserve.

Anon who said he wanted to rape Sydney Sweeney earlier can render a scene of him doing that to her in the Star Wars universe, but Sydney is a blue twi'lek. We may just win in the end....

>Michiba > Sakai > Chen >>> Morimoto = Kobe

Michiba is obviously number #1 because Japanese give elders maximum respect, and of course Iron Chef Japanese has to be number 1 on a Japanese show. And it's funny because you have several episodes of challengers saying "My cooking school must take down Michiba! It's for honor!!"

Sakai is the middle age veteran warrior. Definitely #2. He's also trained in French which is very popular around the world for sophistication and wonderful taste.

Chen, at least during filming the show, was fairly young. So he's a kid in my eyes. A spunky young iron chef with fiery and spicy Chinese cuisine.

Morimoto was the Michiba replacement. He was experimental with some of his Japanese food designs and many cooks from the conservative faction hated him.

Kobe was like a junior Iron Chef. Didn't he lose his first debut battle? I remember there was one episode where they said the Chairman wasn't happy with Kobe and he needs to get a win or the Chairman will be displeased. Kobe eventually grew on me.

Yea, sucks they had to guy the soundtrack to upload the episodes. It's kind of oh well, cause I think they original are like lost media.
>>217367593
I felt so bad for the guy who showed up wearing orange and cooked mexican food. He clearly desperately wanted to be Iron Chef Mexican. They hated his food. And it all looked good. Thing is, mexican food uses rice and beans in different ways than japan does. It also uses spices not normally used in japan, as well cheeses. Japan is still only now starting to have mexican restaurants. He lost to iron chef italian of all fucking people too.... like... damn man....
