The best thing about this season thus far is how they are slowly building up the dragon seeds for the second half of the season. So when that moment comes where their impact on the story surprises the general audience it will have that holy shit moment without feeling like it came out of nowhere. My only nitpick is that they haven't shown Jace being the great leader that he is at this point, or could be. Especially since at this point of time he does take a more of a leadership role, which soon leads up to the dragon seeds.

And the discussions in season 3 talk about a plot between Corlys and Jace to "incapacitate" Rhaenyra and keep her in bed.
My thoughts after ep3.I’m so happy that the air was cleared between Alicent and Rheanyra about the Song Of Ice And Fire. But Alicent is right, even if they managed to convince everyone that Aegon’s Ascension was illegitimate, far too much blood has been spilled on both sides for there to be any kind of peace.
