I am actually happy with how week 1 has gone so far. At first after seeing just pictures of the cast i felt this season would be a little weak. But i think it will be good. My only issue is yet again we will have a lack of great game play. Probably the best player is Quinn and he won't make any top 10 list. Nor will anyone else in this house I'm 99% sure.

BB20 (not counting all stars) was the last season where the cast had any truly great players. That cast arguably had 3 better than anyone since. The best new player since BB20 has MAYBE been Monte(BB24) or Cory(BB25) but that isn't saying much. It is like production is purposely not putting in players they think will do too well.and run the game. But without players like those it all just feels random and messy. The lack of even A level and even B level players in their game has been a failing of the show the past 5 years. Think of all the great players and they are from years ago. BB has never had a run of such badly playing house guest. They are casting too much for drama and not enough for gamesmanship.

Also Po was running the house, actually a really good player. Would've gone week 1 anyway due to the BD twist, but I'd say she runs the season unironically otherwise.

I don't know if Monte is a "good player", he's just the boring strong black guy like X and Tychon, even Cam this year has everyone coming up to him without him even trying.

Cory would have been fine if not for the Circe's son being in the game and that turning her mindless followers and half the house against him forever, even at the cost of their own games and letting the clearly much more dangerous pair of Matt/Jag skate to the end.

But yes, Cory wasn't that good. The only reason I'm bringing him up is to show how bad seasons 21, 23, 24 and 25 have been for house guest. He is literally one of the best players in that stretch.

3rd player be Kaycee (but yes Tyler and JC are both superior. Also Monte isn't that good a player. That is the point.

Kyle is in the top 5 best players easy. Better than Monte. He was one of the few players in the new era who played an old school game of switching up his alliances to better position himself
