Only decent movie on your list anon, sorry, I hope you at least enjoy some of the others

>The Endless
Also watch Resolution instead of this, it's leaps and bounds better, not even remotely close at all
>>
>>204031684
i love Resolution which is why i'm giving that one a chance. i'm aware it has to do with ex-cult members, which sounded alright. i downloaded all these movies, i have to at least give them a go before i delete. i'm going to cut them with the classics so they go down with chasers.
>>
>>204031616
Everyone rewatches the same ones every season for a reason. The genre is a landfill.

What's that really artsy black vampire movie from the 70s? It's supposed to be about drug addiction or aids or something

Well, I lied, it was hyperbole. I think Resolution is like a 9 and The Endless is like a 7, but I view the gulf between a 9 and a 7 as being probably as wide as between a 7 and a 3. All of their movies are good, with Synchronic being, in my opinions, the weakest in execution. Something in the Dirt is also good, but some people find it a little uhhhhhh boring and faggy
>>
goddamn you guys were right about Oddity. i figured out the deal while gf and the blind sister are chatting. then it's all essentially confirmed in the chess scene between the lads and from that point until now (seems like just before the very end) it's a fucking slog. no tension building whatsoever. that whole chit chat between the sister and her ex bro in law was lame. definitely not saving this one.

Just finished watching House (1977). I can’t say I’ve ever watched anything like that before. It was as if a YouTube poop creator made a horror movie. It was very fun and it gave me a happy feeling while watching.

Very weak vampire film, don't know why i expected more from a tv movie. The story and cast are interesting enough that i kept imagening a better movie the whole time. The only aesthetically interesting scenes were the nightmare ones, of the whole thing had that hazy dreamy look it would've been much better. A script like this in the hands of an italian guy and as a real theatrical film could've been great.

Ferris's gf was a real beauty though, too bad her career never went anywhere.

finished the original Puppet Master, as good as I remember it.
the soundtrack by Charles Band adds a true dreamy mystique to it all, also the characters are so good I wish the series was about them as a ghost hunting crew instead.
funny that they barely explain why the puppets are killing everyone.
