Just watched Oddity and I was very underwhelmed. Caveat did a much better job at building tension.It was probably even more predictable than Caveat (hard to do). Except when the high schoolers notice you and start snickering behind your back and you know they probably aren't talking about you, but reality is, you know what kids are like, and they actually probably are making fun of you because they're insecure kids themselves and they just want to make each other laugh and take any negative attention and focus off themselves so you just sit facing forward trying to find a comfortable position to sit so you dont move around constantly and draw attention to yourself and then your wallet slips out of your pocket onto the ground which isnt a big deal but you hear the kids behind you start laughing at that exact moment and by now youre pretty damn positive they're laughing at you and the previews havent even started so it's probably only going to get worse and you try to ignore you it you really do you try your best but the overheard lights are so bright and your mouth is dry because you didnt want to pay $6 for a drink but and you're too insecure about your chewing noises to ever buy a popcorn or a snack but man now youre pretty parched so maybe you should go back and get a drink before it starts I mean no one is going to take your seat because it's assigned seating so surely none of the high schoolers will try to fuck with you by taking your seat but what if the alpha high schooler decides to hatch a plan when you leave and get the rest of the theater to agree to prank you in some way so maybe youll get a drink a while into the movie so that doesnt happen and then the lights dem and the previews start and you go to turn off your phone as if you ever get any texts and you go to check your texts as if you have friends and the top two contacts are mom and dad and you click on the mom conversation to try to seem like you have friends and text people and you hear the high scoolers laughing again so you gtfo
