Also she doesn't get eaten in one bite. She gets brutalized by a bunch of dinosaurs and then gets swallowed. People were talking about it because it's a really prolonged death scene for a random background character. It would be just as strange if she were a guy.

What fucking bothers me is that they FINALLY made an R-Rated Hellboy movie and wasted it on that fucking shit ten years after the last one!

Fucking retards should have let Del Taco make part 3 of his trilogy and R-rated.

Selma Blair would have to be replaced because she has Multiple Sclerosis, so replace her with Christina Ricci.

As for Perlman, yeah he's old but you'd only need him in make-up for close-ups and could easily have a stunt person do any action scenes along with some mo-cap.

A massive missed opportunity and as for this new version it looks like fucking trash on every level!!!FACT!!!

Any good ghost movies lately? I actually enjoyed Talk To Me, although as usual for me, more the premise and setup than the execution. Once the movie becomes "we're USING ghosts to tell a STORY about ..." I can't help but tap out, especially when characters act unrealistically to advance the plot. I don't care how much you miss your mom, that obviously is not your mom.

I like schlock like The Conjuring and Insidious, I even like Paranormal Activity. As long as the paranormal aspect is well done.

Halloween isn't the night before Samhain. It's the night that starts Samhain, because night starts the day like winter starts the year. I don't even like the franchise and you can larp a culture on your own time.

Watch it then.
I'm about to begin the 4th segment now.
Beyond so far at least has delivered on the gore which is not exactly that common for the VHS series, with decent pacing which is what I'd expect out of anthologies but some VHS shit drags on forever.
1st made no sense and was mostly about zombies mindcontrolled by some bird alien, but was fast paced at least and had nice visuals.
2nd made no sense and was about some robot bollywood woman, had gore towards the end but lots of filler bollywood saars type shit before
3rd was fast paced, good gore and the aliens were nice, too bad it ends once the guy gets abducted instead of doing some nightmare alien torture sequence even if short duration. Also one (1) efficient jumpscare with the alien hand
My guess is some of the segments starting from the 4th have got to be bad as that's the norm, but there's so much boring shit in previous editions like the frat prank where shit only happens on the last minute, same for that haunted wake one that takes ages to start, the medusa woman with the kids, the cyber bodymod one would have been nice if only it didn't drag forever, the one with the killer family that ties in with the lake zombies was completely underwhelming, the one with the black family and the game show etc.
AT LEAST Beyond has delivered on the gore consistently so far.

>>204352271
Aliens are definitely scarier than most horror creatures since zombies/witches/ghosts/vampires/Freddy Krueger etc. don't exist, while aliens definitely do somewhere out there and with enough intelligence also comes the capacity for malice what with even some slighty smarter animals already displaying that.
The idea of being violated at your home and brought to some nightmarish UFO where you'll be probed and experimented is scary in itself too.
