This was interesting. A racist, pro-MAGA, anti-vax female lead that ends up winning throughout the entire movie, you keep waiting for her to get her comeuppance but it never comes. She not only survives she does it triumphantly. She learns nothing, she's the same exact person at the end.

She's definitely not painted in a positive light but it also doesn't feel overly judgemental either, the movie kind of celebrates her victories with her.

pumpkinhead 2 really doesnt stand to the original at all.
i think pumpkinhead is only on screen for 1 or 2 minutes in the first hour, but thats not even the main problem. it's like they just copy pasted a bunch of story beats from the first one to make it a pumpkinhead movie, but didnt really get what made the first one great.
