Creature feature in a cave. I might have liked this at the start of the month. By the 18th, a flick needs to be great, not just good. I'm sick of good-enough. The creature actually looks good, and gets an okay amount of screentime, but the characters aren't as likable as the movie thinks they are, and the plot is hurt by nonsense decision making. Sound mixing is bad and you can't make out dialogue clearly, the camera constantly shakes and does the strobe-light effect. The acting is pretty okay though. It's not pure bad, but there's just not a ton to like here.

Stream is great, MadS is good (see below but beware of spoilers).

MadS is essentially Gaspar Noe's Climax+[REC]+Romero's Crazies.
It has 2 flaws: drags a bit before it gets going and the acting is occasionally grating with an excess of blabbering incoherently and some overacting.
It is nevertheless enjoyable with minimal exposition and stunning, grainy nighttime cinematography with excellent longtake variations. One brief sequence in particular is fucking impressive: (the train). 100% worth watching.

Review of recently watched
Infinity Pool - Nothing about it was scary and puddle deep exploration of money making people evil if they are given impunity for their actions. Even if you like Mia Goth's over the top stuff its infrequent in the movie. Pretty boring movie overall.

Blackcoats Daughter - She's actually mentally ill and not possessed XD. I may be a retard and missed if her parents actually were dead or not but it just was just not that engaging to me. Would prefer we spent more time getting to know the girls so it meant more when one goes crazy and the other dies. Honestly felt most of the movie was underdeveloped and the finding the parents of the girl she killed is also retarded.

i liked it. i felt like there was a good amount of gore and violence in general for a tv show and they kept the tone of army of darkness pretty well throughout. worth a watch if you're a fan

I liked the substance alot.
I really liked the part where Sue ends up spending three months extracting fluid from Elisabeth, which starts to look like an infected sore. When she tries to use it one more time, the fluid comes out looking necrotic. She calls the number, and the voice tells her that she has reached the end of her allotted usage time for her young body, and the stabilizing fluid will reset when she goes back to Elisabeth’s body. Sue sees no other option but to do that, and when she returns to Elisabeth’s body, she has become a grotesque, hunchbacked abomination.

I think the fact it shows a shadow that's supposed look like some kind of demon or devil they want you to believe this is a possession film, add in the large personality shift and giving her a fake name when they introduce her in the future they wanna try to create a scenerio of the devil made me do it.
