how is a couple of baskets of cabbage, carrots and cauliflower enough to feed this many people?Even one entire cow would only last a few days with this many mouths to feed. Vegetables are much less calorie dense, they would need an entire truck full of veggies daily to feed 50+ people of the town + colony house. It's just nonsensical.Even the crops they were growing in season 1, it was just a few garden beds. That amount of "crop" wouldn't even be enough to feed a single family much less that many people. They would need entire fields of a high density / calorie rich crop like corn or wheat in order to feed that many people like at least several acres.It's just not possible for the town to feed that many people with the resources they have. Maybe they could sustain a dozen people MAX if they were all rationing what food they were growing, but even then you're running at a deficit. Once it gets cold your body burns way more calories too, so you need to consume even more food in the winter like conditions they have in the town now. Going out to grab a few baskets of cabbage every day won't solve the hunger issue. They need meat, and they would need it FAST. They would need to be out hunting for deer daily and have someone skinning / prepping them every single day.What about the sanitation situation too?
