I hate situations like this where they released a decent blu-ray in 2009, it went out of production, and now you can't buy it anymore unless you went to spend $50+ for a used copy.
I understand when a boutique label sells out and it goes OOP since they often license the films to distribute a certain amount of copies, but this is MGM releasing their own movie, and they just choose not to sell it to people.

I’m a funny sort of way it helps because it gets a bit meta and almost acts like book and movie (of the shining) both happened. You don’t have to have read doctor sleep though, although it’s pretty good if you like your Kingslop. Watching The Shining and Doctor Sleep is a good time. Then do the tv miniseries. Sidenote: I really wish they didn't ask actors to do "the Boston accent" when they're in Stephen King movies, or any movie for that matter. My friend and his wife are watching a horror movie every night this month and sometimes I like to go over and watch with them. They are casuals and have not seen most of the classics, so it's fun watching with them for their first time. Last night we did The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and they were blown away, they really enjoyed it. I wish I could feel the feeling of seeing some of these movies again for the first time.

Prince of Darkness is fantastic, it’s a demon movie with a fun sci fi twist. It’s oozing with 80’s charm, all the scientists have mullets and are horny for each other throughout the flick. This was probably one of the better Stephen King movies that I've watched. Mike Flannagan did a great job of taking that habit that King has of having too many characters with too many storylines and whittling it down and making it work. Granted, he still needed 2.5 hours to do it. And I'm not going to say it didn't feel like a long movie but it definitely didn't' feel boring at any point. It was interesting to see how he reshot so many of the scenes from The Shining and really made it work. I'm a fan.

Watched Ghostwatch (1992)
Thought they used the style of mockumentary extremely well. The story behind the airing and the many complaints they got makes it even better. I liked the characters and it was well made, it's a little rough due to the age as newer technology could have done a lot more with the effects. That being said it's pretty unique from what I've seen so far and definitely worth a watch
