After i'm done rewatching the De Palmas i want, i'm gonna delve into Bunuel and Zurlini, should i just go chronologically with Bunuel or should i first watch the main ones and then go from there? Every single Bunuel i've watched was between ages 13-16 and that was over 15 years ago, the only one i remember vividly is Exterminating angel.
Just watched Longlegs, the film starts very well but it continues terribly. The choice to go for the super natural instead of a more psychological route really made the entire thing bland, what are even the motives of the antagonist? Does he just kill people for the sake of it? The cursed doll trope has been done so many times i lost the count, a good 7/10 just for the start.
