I haven't watched Terrifier 3 yet because I found Terrifier 2 so incredibly boring and way too long for what it was. The first 30 minutes or so was quite good at building up suspense though. People on here has said that Terrifier 2 was better than 3 so that doesn't sound very promising imo.

She is seriously hot, and it's even better because it's in a "gettable" way. Like an average guy could manage sexo with her, since she's not unattainably gorgeous. I like gettable women. But on another note watching this movie in HD you can see all the supposedly dead corpses breathing and moving around too much, it's distracting.

Does anyone have a good horror series to recommend?

I enjoyed the terror (s1, s2 was trash), midnight mass and a couple of older seasons of AHS.

Bonus point for autumn/wintery/woods theme (not mandatory, I'm open to every suggestion)

Why did the [REC] series fall off a cliff after the second movie? Is it because the two co-directors split up?

And why are "critics" pretending that the 4th movie was "a return to form"? I thought the 3rd movie sucked, but the 4th was just straight up slop. I do kind of like how you can clearly see the differences between the two directors (the REC 4 guy is the one who worshipped the newspaper actress & the worm side of the story, the REC 3 guy is the one who pushed the religious stuff, while the other one clearly didn't care for it at all).

Are we looking forward to this horror-kino?

>Y: The Last Man meets The Girl With All the Gifts in Gretchen Felker-Martin's Manhunt, an explosive post-apocalyptic novel that follows trans women and men on a grotesque journey of survival.

>Beth and Fran spend their days traveling the ravaged New England coast, hunting feral men and harvesting their organs in a gruesome effort to ensure they'll never face the same fate.

>Robbie lives by his gun and one hard-learned motto: other people aren't safe.

>After a brutal accident entwines the three of them, this found family of survivors must navigate murderous TERFs, a sociopathic billionaire bunker brat, and awkward relationship dynamics―all while outrunning packs of feral men, and their own demons.

Action thriller that is an emotional ride as well. Cult scene is top-tier and makes me wonder why Western action movies aren't nearly as enjoyable most times. >>
>>205685527
> The Shadow Strays, an Indonesian action movie, shits on most Western action movies.
It shits on almost all western movies in terms of fight scenes. Western actors are not willing to legit get injured for scenes. For those type of action scenes, there are loads of injuries. Big name action stars or even most actors are not willing to get beat up and hit and throw around. Sure, it’s “acting” and a movie but those hits and scenes are real, obviously not full power, but they are still hits.
>>
>>205685671
Death Penalty is based. Some people aren't fit for this world. The most fail proof method is actually firing squad. Electric Chair fucked up a lot and when lethal injection fucks up, it's horrendously painful.
>>

Also, in western movies, they use stuntmen for stunts but in Asia, the fights and stunts are done by the actor themselves. Also, they tend to hire stuntmen and martial artists as actors whereas in Hollywood, it’s the other way around.

Should we remove the bottom 50% of society as a one time culling?
>>
>>205687394
I like it too, but it isn't even in the top three Amityville movies.
Possession, It's About Time and Dollhouse are much better.
>>
>>205687537
>>205687626
Just realized I watched It's About Time, not Dollhouse. They're part of the same direct-to-video Amityville series.
>>
>>205687577
I think so. The population in the top 50 and bottom 50 isn’t equal. The bottom 50 is like 3 times more than the top 50.

Hopefully this jewish purge of the "lower classes" doesn't actually happen.

And the "bottom 50%" wouldn't be fringe. That's half of everybody.
If you're not a rich businessman you are in the "bottom 50%". That's just how it is.
>>
>>205688147
Also, the fact there are mods and Jannies here that ban anons for posting 4chan culture things already shows mainstream has seeped in here a little.
>>
>>205688343
lol that’s not how it is. The bottom 50% is a good purge. The gap between the top 20% and bottom 70% is really big and keeps growing, that’s why.
>>
>>205688405
>The bottom 50%
>bottom 70%
Which one is it???
Maybe we should just bump it to the bottom 100%. That should cover everybody.
>>

>>
>>205688531
Do you ever google the stats or do you just make up stuff? The bottom 50% really depends the top 10%. The gap between the top 20% and bottom 70% is huge and always growing. The population of the bottom 50% is very big and is also always growing.
>>
>>205688634
And this is ignoring the fact people in the bottom 50% are different types of people with different behaviour and thought processes.
>>
>>205688599
I’m sitting on the sidelines for this one.

Do you prefer your found footage presented as if the footage was found and then edited down and given explanatory title cards and whatnot or just raw POV footage?
>>
>>205698783
Solid choice, I like the synth-y soundtrack.
>>
>>205700542
I think unexplained raw footage is better unless you're really making an effort with the idea of how it was found, like a wraparound story.
When something starts with a "they never found" it feels like I'm being reminded of how the film is gonna end.

>>
>>205700542
The former because it easily explains common plotholes like
>why is there footage from different cameras
>why is there music
>why is it edited instead of being hours of raw footage
>>
>>205700542
The explanation has to be plausible to me. That gets you points. If it's edited, you need to explain the editor's motivation too. There's lots of ways to do that.
>The live reporter was there
>The person making the documentary had a way to get it out
>The footage was found by someone who edited it
>The monsters want the footage to be found
I like that The Conspiracy can be read as it's a psyop they let him release it. I hate the character but the end of Frogman's only flaw is that the film festival release isn't a case of them hiring a crew for that event in a vain attempt to appear sympathetic being highlighted by that second crew's editor. This has been found by a motivated editor so you have to think what they cut is a good one but I can't think of anything that does that. One I like which happens a lot in older documentarian parodies is
>The crew was uninvolved and that's how they didn't get taken out by the monster and that's also why they didn't intervene to stop death/misadventure
The dungarees in the door in Drop Dead Gorgeous lives rent free and well fed in my brain forever and I want found footage horrors to do it more.
