>>214655552Nah Voyager is peak coziness, it's better than DS9 even. I guess if you're a midwit and impressed by the Dominion War plotline over and over again then maybe Voyager seems like a letdown, but if you think the Dominion War is boring after a while and Bajorans are just retarded, DS9 is just a show about a nigger who decides to believe the hype about himself being space Jesus. Not that interesting, and probably could've been done better in 43 minutes on one episode of Voyager with some alien dude instead of Sisko. He would ascend and then Janeway and Tuvok would have a little chat and then we would fucking move on. DS9 is exhausting. It has little high notes but they're just not enough. Did we really need fucking 4 more years of fucking WORF? It's the Space Jesus show, and that story is generally stupid. Voyager is better than Enterprise just automatically because they didn't waste an entire season on a Xindi arc.

>>214658542Name at least four episodes. You can’t.
>>214658662Jackie ChanJackie ChanJackie ChanJackie Chan
>>214658662He just said there are three.
>>214658715And I asked for four. Problem?
Why do the Romulans job literally every time in TOS-ENT? They're supposed to be deceptive masterminds, but they always pratfall in the eleventh hour. Klingons at least succeed from time to time, hell, even the fucking spoonheads were more menacing.
>>214658765Berhack and Roddenhack were shit writers thats why
>>214658765Romulans are a stand-in for the Chinese.
>>214658765Sad that we never got a Romulan cast member too. Even the Borg got sympathetic representation. That one liaison who was supposed to operate the Defiant's cloak should have stayed on permanently.
>>214658765Well, the lesson should never be "the hyper paranoid bellicose society wins"
>>214658765Romulans greatest enemy is other Romulans, whenever they appear to job at assured victory its actually being backstabbed by one of their peers.
>>214658927>LeVar Burton directed episode>the Romulans is a black guy for once, like the only time they ever used a black guy as a Romulan
>>214658804I love Romulans so much, bros...
realistically how could there ever be a Romulan cast member? it just don't make no sense.
is there a top secret place to watch episodes online? I know theres a stream on cytube but it keeps asking to install a user script and I'm not very good with computers
>>214658990Literally the first romulan ever on screen could plausibly be a defector to Starfleet.
>>214659014no.
>>214658765They did pretty well in Data's Day
Jeffrey Combs is amazing even as an inanimate fucking box, what a guy
he wasn't perfect... but he was a damn good captain..
>>214659059he was perfect actually
>>214659068nigga he read the US constitution to a bunch of retards
>>214659081yes? what are you, a pinko?
>>214659081yeah because they were getting it wrong and didn't know any better
>>214653401Ensign pretty
>>214653265how does star trek sex with shran differ from sex with shran?
>>214659125it doesn't
>>214658953>tfw KDF but have to use Romulan Tac Dread because the devs refuse to give Klingons a decent looking dread, and even if they did it'd probably be a lame ass MW >even then I have to use the T5 skin because the T6 still looks weirdMain is a Starfleet TOS human with a fully barbied Tarantula, all tetryon weapons, almost all web devices, and the full cryatalline set, rips everything to shreds, love that thing.
since it's the Jeffrey Combs thread I wanna talk about that one small scene where Shran bluffs off the Xindi (I think it was) by pretending to be a mining consortium and the funny thing is how surprisingly convincing it was like Shran just also happened to have an incredible talent for acting or maybe it was actually bad acting on JC's part forgetting to act less convincing since he's playing a character that isn't an actor. like why would a career Imperial Guardsman who just punches people in the face to get his way be able to perfectly act so obsequious and Ferengi-like? either way it was like, meta or something. I noticed it.
>>214659250Can you help me fit my fucking bird because I do shit damage? I haven't played in years
>>214654549
>>214659289Isomags is the new meta, get 6x/x2 and load your eng/universal slots with isomags tuned to your damage of choice. I don't know what playstyle you're going for, and I suck ass at cannon builds, all my shit is broadsides because I refuse to bend the knee to absolute meta, barbie always takes precedence.
>>214656946>>214656987They literally already did this with the nutty professor wtf are you taking about?
>>214659332those spy guys from Voyager rule
>>214659378no it did it for like 1 gimmick scene
>>214659277Jeffrey Combs unholy ACTING. TALENT. broke the matrix for you for a few moments. Very cool.

>>214659428i like that scene for another reason because while that's going on Archer is watching him do his thing with that stupid Archer look on his face and I was like I wonder if it occurs to this dumb fuck how skilled at utter deceit Shran is and the implications of that for what he's even doing here. that was the episode where he's trying to steal the weapon which was obvious from the beginning to anyone with a brain. so, not Archer of course.
>>214659343I see, this is what I'm rocking currently. Usually just cloak do a full volley, full speed out and poop my torpedoes at them and then try to recloak asap
>>214659598Dang, I'm not sure how to build for mostly tac console, the dreads tend to come with 4-5 eng, so it's valuable to use isomags on them. I'm not sure if it's true for only 2 with the experimentals. Have you tried check STO Better for a build on a similar ship? I tried to stumble through vor'cha cruiser gameplay because it's my favorite canon ship, but I always end up getting myself exploded in anything that size or smaller. I know almost any ship, especially a T6, is completely viable, I just can't make them work, a personal failing and not the ship.
Have some pleasant dreams tonight
>>214659750You can't tell me what to do
>>214659598>>214659749Here's mine, it's not really useful though since I tend to go all universals. D.O.M.I.N.O. and DPRM are gamechangers for survivability.
>>214659277It’s not like he’s some pleb redshirt or naive hick like Archer. The Andorians have had to deal with the Vulcans and their bullshit for years at that point, he knows treachery
>>214660121>>214659277I thought Andorians were well known for their adeptness at subterfuge.
andorians are just blue romulans
>>214659081After getting some good belly kino from Irene Kelly
>>214660973Whoa whoa there pinkskin. You are pink right?
>>214660689I believe that’s the lore, yes, and Shran was also an experienced military commander. Him being able to effectively bullshit a Xindi, or indeed just about anyone, doesn’t seem out of character to me at all
>>214656209Picard S2 was the most genuinely offended I've ever been in response to a TV show. S1 was bland and like a generic sci-fi repurposed as Trek. S2 was a complete bastardization. The constant woke shit all in the first few episodes almost made my head explode (ICE, pollution/global warming messaging, Guinan's character assasination, irrational hostility towards Picard as the stand-in white guy). Dropped that shit around episode 3-4. Fucking unreal.
>>214661490Don't forget that the writers didn't know that Ten Forward was called that because it was on deck ten of the enterprise, forward section. They made its namesake due to the address being #10 on Forward Street or something equally as stupid when they go back in time.
You've got to carry that weight...
Trying to make my way through the abomination that is Picard season 2
>>214663394I did not finish watching the first season. And I have never felt the urge to try and complete it. Bad show. Same for DISCO. I have seen all LOW though. And will probably watch season three of SNW too.
>>214661490S2 of Oldcard is just Q wants a hug.
>>214653377The interesting thing about changelings is how submissive they are amongst their own kind. Forgoing any attempt at individuality or distinction, no sense of separation between one from another. A racial ego-death of sorts. It makes me wonder if when Odo finally joined the link to cure them, because of his much stronger sense of self, the entire link essentially became Odo with all changelings embodying him and his values from then on. That would probably be Quark's biggest nightmare.
>>214662936I'm watching you
We need an anime trek.
>>214663724Well it's one big soup orgy ain't got time for anything but gooing
NEW>>214663933>>214663933>>214663933
>>214653409You actually needed Limpy Dicker to admit they were a massive gaping faggot who actually hates Star Trek? Anyone with an IQ higher than fucking milk can work that out just from reading their wordpuke.
>>214661490Sheer FUCKing hubris
>>214659277Actually the best part of that scene is he not only plays Shran as a good actor, but he remembers *to still play him as Shran* so a couple of times you see him visibly control his temper and go back to the obsequieous facade. Also I don't see any conflict, the Andorians are repeatedly shown to be sneaky buggers and remember Shran has already spent the episode up to that point bluffing Archer & T'Pol about his real purpose in helping them(they just know him well enough to be a bit sus).
>>214659598I wish more of the missions in the game were a bit more generic, everything's so tightly tied in to the 2410's period that playing Captains themed around other eras feels kinda shitty.
