>>
>>215417120
I think it's good, but it is very divisive. It is very meta and uses many genres.
>>
>>215415407
Sure. Maybe some will say sour grapes, but basically it was just having been out in Hollywood trying to do indie stuff and working with others also trying to do indie stuff and never really getting things off the ground because of the price (there's always an extra $10k hidden fee somewhere) and basically only having the option to do crew work on nepo baby projects that were always kind of dumb (sort of like the movie I posted) then I started talking to the people doing these projects and realized they were all nepo babies with trustfunds, all the people leading the crew who were getting paid the real money were also nepo babies with trustfunds that got legacy hired into it. While myself and a long list of other people had various ideas (whether good or bad) they were all originals one wrote after a lot of soul searching and striking on something that seemed like a really cool idea that hadn't been done before and NO ONE was ever willing to finance those things, but then these guys could walk into anyone's office and be like: 'Dude, I know three hot chicks and I need like $10k to make them all get naked on camera and I'm gonna make them sit on cakes or do weird enema clown shit." and those same producers would be like: "Of course! Anything for you my second cousin's brother's friends nephew!" or another one was this almost $30k music video that never came out where they had to rent out an entire building, a cop car, hire an actor, and a three foot tall animateonic cat puppet just because this one nepo baby thought it would be funny to see a cat dressed as a police officer tell a bank robber: "Put your hands in the air right meow!"

Even just getting crew jobs myself and many others would have to call everyone up and BEG for a spot making like $100 but this one nepo girl just asked a guy if he had a spot for her and not only did she get hired for more money but they'll go out of their way to find you a job with other people too so you can keep working.

Did you know that the prop head from Friday the 13th 2 was made my Stan Winston?

I always wondered how guys like Stan Winston, Greg Nicotero, Tom Savini, Rick Baker etc. reference what a corpse would look like. Do they just have binders full of pictures of car accident victims, bear maulings, bodies fished out of rivers, war photographs and whatnot?
>>

Savini was a photographer in Nam. I remember his direction for zombies was to loosen their jaws, because people's muscles relax when they die. Guy probably saw some gnarly shit lol

Which RZ Halloween sequel would have been better. Neither would have been directed by Zombie but would have picked up after H2.

>Halloween 3D was to be the sequel to Rob Zombie's Halloween II, written by Todd Farmer and directed by Patrick Lussier. The story would follow the idea that Laurie killed Dr. Loomis and was hallucinating when she thought it was Michael Myers. Michael would disappear only to reappear and take off with Laurie by his side as a murder pair. The two would leave to find their mother’s corpse and dig her out of the ground. A group of teenagers stumble upon them and all are killed except for one who is named Amy. A standoff ensues with Sheriff Brackett being killed by Laurie and Michael Myers being hurdled in a burning Ambulance into a dam. Michael Myers is presumed dead. Then jumping ahead in the story, Laurie is housed with Amy in the same psychiatric hospital. Michael returns for Laurie and a blood bath ensues inside the J. Burton Psychiatric Hospital. This would ultimately lead to a final standoff at a giant festival where Michael plants a bomb in his stomach from his mother’s urn and it explodes. It wounds Laurie and she tells Michael she is not like him leading to him stabbing her in a final attempt before death. She dies and then Michael dies as well while Amy watches in horror.

>The second script was written by Stef Hutchinson shortly after the first script fell through and follows the theatrical ending of Halloween II. It opens at the Nichols home in Langdon, Illinois a few days before Halloween. The son is plagued by terrifying nightmares about the boogeyman and is attacked by him in his bedroom. The mother wakes up to the screams to find her husband dead beside her and she runs into Michael, and he kills her. The story then jumps ahead to Halloween day where we see a retired Brackett laying flowers at Laurie’s grave. It has been 3 years since that dreadful night when both Loomis and Laurie died. Michael Myers’s body was never recovered. The new sheriff Hall checks on Brackett only to find his house littered with cases related to Michael Myers. Brackett’s niece Alice walks in to find the two talking. Jumping ahead in the story we find that Michael Myers crashes the homecoming game where both his niece Alice and her best friend Cassie are. They are chased back to the school where Brackett runs to after Alice tips him off as to what is going on. A showdown occurs where Brackett must choose between saving Cassie or killing Michael. He chooses to save her, and Michael disappears into the night. A confused Brackett wondering why Michael didn’t kill him goes back home only to find a severed head on the Nichols porch which is right across the street from his house. He then enters the home to see the name Alice written in blood on the wall. Alice was Michael Myers’s true obsession and only made it seem like he was after Brackett’s niece. He then tries to phone Alice’s home to no answer. The movie then pans to her slaughtered parents and Alice burning at the stake. Michael Myers watches with his head titled as she burns.

write the basis of a sequel to a movie
The Witch 2
>Thomasin has spent multiple decades with her coven and is ready to plot her revenge against the village her father was exiled from
>her and 2 of her coven sisters infiltrate the village posing as refugees from some roaming murdering gangs
>maybe instead of 3 girls its one dude Thomasins age and a younger sister who is played by an actress who is 18
>one of the satanic scenes would be them placing curses on the food and water along with placing trinkets in homes
>also they can have a threesome in a stable and the young hero can witness it and inform the authority
>when the towns people go to the barn they find them in sheets and then they disappear
>turns out the ritual is complete
>the village gets invaded by the whole coven
>Satan stands outside the village soaking it in
>the towns people retreat from the slaughter inside the church
>windows and doors banging, flashing, fogging
>ending scene in village with invisible hellhounds tearing those inside the church to shreds
>Satan leading a chain gang of the souls of the village out to pasture then a fall to hell
>>
>>215419896
Yeah otherwise you'll be condemned to rewatch it in the future. The SFX are the best parts.
>>
>>215419940
and we also find out the dude has sacrificed his genitals to satan which explains why he is in the female coven
>>
>>215418957
>Esmerelda wasn't a witch
>Frollo wasn't a sorcerer
>But quasimodo was definitely a a cambion, a half-human half-demon, son of an incubus and a gypsy witch, sent to collect Frollo's soul upon his death which he exchanged to Satan for political power.
>>
>>215419998
And Phoebus was definitely a chad who fucked Esmerelda and stole her virginity and dumped her ass then ignored her while she was. Being executed then went on to fuck his own cousin
>>
>>215419658
Not a shill. The movie was good and the 80’s fags itt cannot accept a new meta. Filtered.
>>
>>215419940
Nah it should end in a brutal defeat of the witches coven, like the reverse of a normal horror, where the audience is forced to come to terms with the film making them root for evil, and the witches are abandoned by Satan as they are ultimately just pawns in his plan.

Said it last thread, but the second with the caveat the following changes:
> More focus on the niece
> Extended scene of her being chased by Michael, finding out her friends or such are dead, almost dying, but then surviving at the end traumatized

It would've literally been Jaimie 2.0 and I think they could have gotten another sequel out of it and done what was basically Halloween 4 & 5 over again from the Zombie reimagining. Bonus points for merging it with the beginning of the first version and Laurie would basically just replace Rachel from Halloween 4

A direct sequel to Jaws 4: The Revenge as I love that movie

Otherwise it would just be a standard Jaws movie with cool kills and aquatic shots/scuba diving scenes. I'd make him shoot it the cenirama way on two 16mm cameras side by side fornthe aspect ratio effect (and probably just splice them together digitally if the cinerama set up was too much trouble), an all White cast, attractive actors, Christian themes, pro family themes, good male role models, etc

Well the assumption is it was made to be uncrackable aside from anyone else but those who had the powers of clairvoyance.
The real question is why. Did Satan set up a long term rube goldberg machine where the MC was influenced to become a cop? Maybe Longlegs just planned to self expire once his Satanic odyssey had been completed, like in Se7en, and so willed her to have the power to solve the riddles so his torment would end once the triangle thing had been completed.

I'd just take a back to basics approach. No Laurie, no remake, no convoluted justification for his return. On Halloween night, Michael Meyers who is sort of a culturally known urban legend stalks a new group of teens in a small town (not Haddonfield). The killings are brutal, random, and Michael just exists - no particular motive other than simply being the shape/boogeyman - a force that just exists. People can read into it as a sequel to the original, or resurrection, or whatever continuity they like.

JAWS 5: JAWS OF LIFE
One of the Brody grandchildren has grown up to become a brilliant-but-emotionless marine biologist specializing in shark behavior. Believing that communication between sharks and humans is possible, they construct a robotic water tank to hold a great white shark. The tank allows the shark to move on land, and it learns over time about what life above sea level is like.Watching over the shark reminds the biologist what it means to be human, and they fall in love with their long suffering research assistant. Then one day, a giant squid pulls the biologist and research assistant down in their submersible to a place almost unreachable by humans. Only the shark can lead a rescue team to save its new friends from the giant squid. A bloody underwater battle ensues, but the biologist and assistant are saved at the cost of the shark's life. They vow to never forget their shark friend. A year later, the biologist and assistant are now married with a newborn infant. The biologist stands over the child's crib. The child reaches up for a shark's tooth hanging from the biologist's neck.
FADE OUT.

Am I the only person who finds the obsession with Universal monsters inexplicable? Like stop making Dracula, Frankenstein, and Wolfman movies for a while, please. We've got more than enough.

And the Dark Universe area they added to Universal Studios seems like such a waste. That should just be an area dedicated to horror in general. Like a year-long Halloween Horror Nights with guys like Freddy, Jason, and Chucky, around. They could have Gremlins driving around like Disney does with the Muppet thing.

Holy brutal mog. Lane at least is a homo so it doesn't hurt him as much, but Broderick was completely enmasculated.

It falls well within the golden era. 1-4 are at the top in whatever combination you'd want. The rest are all over the place.
