Didn't expect Vince to lean even more heavily into the meditative "nothing happens" pacing of BCS. It is a little too much, but if some of these huge sequences were just 3-5 minutes shorter, I think it would be fine. Regardless, I'm still enjoying this show and I think it has great potential if a lot of dominoes are methodically laid out now and actually toppled later. Vince just needs to not forget the toppling part.

Last episode was a masterpiece of television, one of those rare episodes of a show that just leaves you sitting in silence for hours after unable to shake the feeling it left you with. The show as a whole has been ok, good but not great, but this last episode is one of the best pieces of television I’ve seen in years, a perfect display of show don’t tell. Phenomenal. Just wow. Just wow

Never really put it together till tonight. I hate Carol because she reminds me of my first serious ex, Katie. We were young but stable, I wanted kids and she didn't. Not until she could gain some grounding in her career in social work. The split was amicable and if I saw her today it would be friendly. But after starting her career Katie started to talk like Carol does in this show, and I don't even know how to explain it. But the split happened long before the actual split. A weird mix of anger, superiority, and tunnel vision drive, all while still not being an evil person. I hate it but I still keep watching.
