Imagine not watching the best horror movie podcast in 2026.
>>220054701This lady always had a butterface which just made her look old as shit in everything she's in. great body and everything but Christ her face is a 5/10. They could have just put more make-up on her but they never seem to do in any of her movies.
>>220054635I have been looking for some horror (or more like thriller) movie and I don't fucking remember the name, it's been years. It was like from the 2000s, a guy falls in love with the wife of some old guy that owns a motel and wants to protect her from him. At the end it's revealed the mc was actually a a schizo and all of that was in his head and the motel guy wife was never in danger. They also have some pool scene of her and the guy kissingANYONE FUCKING KNOWS THE NAMESorry I'm going crazy
She's actually a plant (raising) woman. There's one scene where a little spider shows up but it's besides the point.
>>220054635This style of ghost effect is the most kino
>>220054724nta but i was really horny one october night and decided to watch murder weapon for she. she seemed to know how to look incredibly young when she wanted, like here. but then she looks twice her age in other shots or that webm anon posted. it's like that seinfeld episode about the girl who looks ill in certain lightingthe movie sucked btw, it was done in the same weekend as killer workout. i'm glad she was able to be cast in ROTLD, i wish she was in more actually professionally shot kino
>>220054864She's just not very attractive when it comes to her face. She was born with bad genetics but makes up for it by being in good shape with a decent ass and a nice rack.
>>220054904Personally, I'd kiss her face. But that's just me.
>>220054759I fucking told you, it's 1408. Next QUESTION.
>>220054864You reminded me that I have Murder Weapon and Deadly Embrace on blu-ray to watch soon>the movie sucked btwDoes she get naked at least?
>>2200551211408 is about ghosts
>>220055207>Murder Weapon and Deadly Embracenever heard of this but the blu ray cover is nice. murder weapon/killer workout seems more fitting though, they were both shot on the same mansion. forgot where i read it but linnea apparently said the mansion owner kicked them out a day early because they thought the film crew were doing shady shitthey probably were>Does she get naked at least?yes, a few times actually. also her best ass shot i think she ever filmed. also eric freeman is there and i think he's stoned or drunk because he seems so low energy
>>220055332>her best ass shot i think she ever filmedI remember her having a pretty great ass scene in American Rampage. I'll have to compare the two
>>220055499having just skimmed american rampage for it, yeah, american rampage is probably better lol. she's prone in the murder weapon one so that wins me over thoughi've seen some real shit but murder weapon is weird and sleazy. i know that's the appeal to some people, but there's something nasty about murder weapon. nice little time capsule of people fucking around in the late 80s without internet though, you can tell when the movie doesn't know what to do and everyone gets boredthe real question: is american rampage worth watching?
>>220055592>the real question: is american rampage worth watching?I'll put it this way: the only thing I remember about it is Linnea Quigley's ass in a shower scene, and she does not star in the film
>>220055718fair enough. i'll add it to the neverending /hor/ watchlist. i'll keep an eye out for any rare murder weapon posts here if you ever do end up watching it, it's such a deep cut that i doubt anyone else will see it anytime soonfunnily enough american rampage is also 1989, she was busy that year. year of the quigleyhonestly she probably just filmed a nude shower scene for another movie and it was probably just reused
>>220054724I think she's giga cute but her real strength was the girl next door persona, she was a natural
>>220055971Your image is the best she's ever looked facially and it's literally because she's wearing a pound of make-up. All that eyeshadow is doing wonders by hiding her droopy looking eyes.
>>220055842>i'll keep an eye out for any rare murder weapon posts here if you ever do end up watching it, it's such a deep cut that i doubt anyone else will see it anytime soonI already bought it, damned if I don't end up watching it. I might save the double feature for October though.I like the alternate title, too (Beverly Hills Corpse)She also had a shower scene in Witchtrap, in which she dies immediately after showing the goods. When I watched Jack-O, where she's again introduced with a full nude shower scene, I was surprised that she went on to be the film's lead. I'm so used to her being namedropped by the production just to have her get offed moments after she appears naked.
>>220055997I think the real question anyway is which Nightmare Sister would you pick

Just watched Ready or Not Here I Come. I just can't get over the "rules" of the Satanic cult being so loosey-goosey just for the sake of plot convenience. I know it's more a popcorn action-horror and I'm probably supposed to just turn my brain off, but the writing just felt so lazy, especially the final scene. But whatever, it was fine.>>220057107I'll probably check it out. The trailer gives me Escape From Tomorrow vibes.
>>220057519this bitch's head looks like it was photoshopped onto that body. She got a face like Kevin Smith's daughter.

Finished this 8 episode SK show and I liked it. It leans more towards a supernatural mystery-thriller, but still has horror to it. It knows when to break up the super serious moments with some humor, which I always find enjoyable. Total runtime is 5 hours, maybe a little longer, so on the shorter side. Acting is solid throughout, but people might not like that it is a SK show, which means you get their brand of drama that naturally comes with it.
>>220061852Those are very nice, but I'm goin for the motherlode.https://youtu.be/biBRKm--8ZM

It's Alien day. Depending on time I may rewatch Alien.
Fun fact: six-foot beauty Geena Davis modeled for Victoria's Secret before becoming an actress.
Watching Volcano. It's not horror but it does have a man melting to death from his feet up.
>>220071122like that first scene in Cliffhanger. it's not a horror film but that scene comes across as one.

>>220072323Nta but every well of person is living with their parents at 30. You graduate college 25, and then start working full time. Who is moving out at 30 unless they take on a mortgage? Obviously wealthy parents buy their kids a house or a big down payment but 30 is screwing yourself over if you can stay home. Most jobs dont pay over $150k especially entry level. This is why almost every adult is poor. Student debt plus moving out too early.
>>220072382His family is already wealthy, he lives at home because he's retarded and needs a handler. I have no interest in off topic posting, I'm just reminding him>>220072425Didn't read, kill yourself

>>22007238230 is literally only 3- 5 year of full time work assuming you got a job RIGHT AFTER you graduate. So you work 5 years and immediately throw it out on rent or a mortgage? lmao. And it is what, 5 years of a 20-60k salary as entry level at best? Not including student tuition costs even if parents did pay for it? People today with decades of full time work are struggling. Imagine moving out at 30.
>>220071304the kino era

>>220072506You could just do retail/warehouse/etc. work right out of HS. Then save up as much as you can while living at home, and you'll already have 100k+ in the bank before taking into account your 401K, interest, and anything else you have invested in. People don't understand that you can grow wealth pretty well by just consistently working, living below your means, and being smart with your money.
>>220072111They actually changed the name to "Heel" to get away from it I think.Anyway I have grown to hate these small cast thriller/"horrors". They make for good short films but are too padded out for full lengths. I can spot them a mile away now.
>>220072111They did that with straight to video releases also in the video store era, name it similar or the same as a big budget new release and hope people rent it out of confusion
>>220072609> You could just do retail/warehouse/etc. work right out of HSBro, no. lol. Wealthy parents would rather pay for their kids college living and expenses than have their kid go to warehouse wagie jobs. >being smartNo one working those jobs you mentioned are smart.

>>220075213>Grapes of Death>Requiem for a Vampire>The Nude Vampire>Shivers of the Vampire>Lips of Blood>FascinationThere's still a few major ones left but they're never on streaming services
>>220075753In the two Nun movies it is most explicit that the entity in them is overcome through faith. The Conjuring movies have fewer overt religious themes, but their exorcisms always proceed in a Catholic fashion, with the Warrens consulting a priest and reading from the Bible when conducting exorcisms. While they are explicitly a God fearing couple, thematically it is the pure heartedness of the Warrens and their genuine love for each other which allow them to overcome the entities they face. That is of course referring to the film versions of them and not the real people they're based on. Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga have really powerful chemistry on screen and their relationship in the films is quite heartwarming. They are ultimately what make the movies work despite their flaws.Of the three Annabelle movies, only one of them has a good end, and no Annabelle is not overcome through faith in that one.Haven't seen La Llorona. The first two Conjuring movies are absolutely worth a watch at the very least. Many people prefer the second but I prefer the first because it has better scares.

>>220075988The Conjurings directed by James Wan are incredible movies.
>>220076111Bleh!
>>220075836Oh yeah, and The Living Dead Girl
>>220075988I might give them a try.Frankly I'm not usually a fan of supernatural ghost horror because... the characters often can't do shit and just suffer constantly, while ghosts are too overpowered, appearing out of nowhere and disappearing whenever the plot demands it, and usually in these movies priests, ghost hunters or whatever always fail too until the very last second which I find draining
>>220076339Bleh!
>>220072013gave this a shot. wish i hadn't
>>220076365Well most of these movies will still disappoint you. They still have all those tropes. The first Conjuring is not perfect, but it transcends a lot of those problems by being strongly character-driven, and having their Baguul problem resonate with the themes of the movie, the plot progression, and the personal issues the characters are dealing with. People remember it fondly for a reason. And like I said, its scares are very well executed.
>>220076460First half was decent then it went 0/10
>>220076460Fucking awful. I think it was by the same director of the original which goes to show, there's just something rotten with the way new films are shot and cast. The twins were the only highlight. I don't get the inclusion of such brief nudity either.

>>220080105>>220080212That reminds me, my Hangover Square blu-ray came with a special feature of a radio adaptation with Vincent Price. I might listen to it later tonightI see it's on YouTube as well, although the audio quality is a bit more rough

>>220078019>>220078130>>220078254Very bottom friendly.
>>220082251Crazy how every mainstream Hollywood movie has a gay couple in it. /hor/ even has its own gays also. Wild.
>>220082251So that is how they signal to each other. I actually didn’t need to know that.

>>220081714>>220081772Just finished. Been a while since I had seen it but it's still the goat. Some thoughts>would have been mind blowing seeing it at the time, even after A New Hope>interesting how Dallas starts out as the MC but it morphs over the film>the ending is so intense with the flashing lights and timer, few films manage to build that genuinely>was Jones just running around the ship the whole trip? I need to catch up on some classic zombie flicks, which first DotD or NotLD?
>>220082792may as well watch them in order, so NOTLD

Currently watching pic rel. This is a second time watch for me, and desu am still not sure I know exactly what the heck is going on.
>>220082830>>220082792But nothing on the banned list :)
>>220082884I love this movie. I wasn't entirely sure the first time either, but it's not too hard to piece together.
>>220082888Don’t worry, I haven’t seen anything on that list. I try to avoid normieslop.
>>220082888I filtered the list, but I'm just going to assume it's the remakes that are banned and drop a couple choice screenshots if I see any
>>220082992Can someone post the list for this anon?

Trve horror: using a microwave to cook entire meals
>>220083681Reminds me I still need to check out pic rel
>>220083681microwave rice is a secret art but i wouldn't do a whole meal
>>220083681Microwaved cabbage is to die for
I love you guys
>>220083879
>>220083953Love you harperbro
>>220083879party hard
>>220083681In defense of the humble microwave, I offer one genuinely useful tip even for proud cooks: When pan frying protein like fish, beef, pork, chicken, or even tofu, zapping in the microwave for a few seconds at a time takes the chill off after removing from the fridge; gets it closer to room temperature or even slightly warm, which prevents it sticking once it hits the hot oil, without having it sit out for a long period of time. It's especially useful in colder weather.
>>220084102Are you retarded? That's literally what most people use a microwave for.
>>220083681me but with my air fryer
>>220083879Thankgs
>>220084185I've never done that. Well I use it for defrosting but that's from frozen

>>220084411I haven't been cabbageposting, but it's probably my favorite veggie after potatoes
>>220084411I eat it nearly every day
>>220084411I have a big cast iron skillet that I char the fuck out of cabbage in and season simply with salt, pepper, and some msg. Cabbage is the only thing that keeps me posting here.
>>220084411My hubby has been cooking with it everyday day
>>220084626you should try that with a little toasted sesame oil and crushed red peppers
>>220084626I like chili peppers, garlic, onion, and s0i sauce with mine. Salt and MSG are essential too, but I use less if I'm using s0i saucefucking filter
>>220084750>>220084758I save the sesame oil and onions sauce for when I cook bok choy. For white man's cabbage, I'm not going to bow down to the asians. That's just me though.

>>220085134>Sam RaimiWow.
>>220085181It's just a pointless copy of the original but with modern day TVs, oh and it was released in 3D. I've seen worse horror remakes desu.
>>220085134Was it good? Guess I can check it out.
>>220085181>>220085243It's so bad bros, don't do it. Unless you absolutely must see every Sam Rockwell picture.
>>220085243It's better than poltergeist 3, if that means anything.
>>220085262Not really, I enjoyed 3 more than 2. The urban setting and scares were better.
damn. Alright, I'll stop posting about NotLD. Good flick though
>>220085409Huh? Why stop? It's one of the most important horror movies ever made. (And also appears in my favorite Lovely Lilith video.)
>>220085455some anon said it's banned, I guess I can continue. The ending will probably stick with me for a few days for sure
>>220085455One of the first woke horror movies.
>>220085409Kino. Interesting reading the wiki page, Ebert has a great quote>The kids in the audience were stunned. There was almost complete silence. The movie had stopped being delightfully scary about halfway through, and had become unexpectedly terrifying. There was a little girl across the aisle from me, maybe nine years old, who was sitting very still in her seat and crying ... It's hard to remember what sort of effect this movie might have had on you when you were six or seven. But try to remember. At that age, kids take the events on the screen seriously, and they identify fiercely with the hero. When the hero is killed, that's not an unhappy ending but a tragic one: Nobody got out alive. It's just over, that's all.
>>220085409First time I saw it was on TV during a horror host program since it was public domain. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the most owned movie ever on dvd, it's in basically every box set.
>>220085691And they were so traumatized that they elected a black man as the president of the United States of America
