I just want you all to know that I just finished this dogshit. What an aggressive dogshit this game was.6/10.
>>719984487When you actually get good at the combat systems then it can be fun, yes.
>>719975561This is totally true, and actually, with hindsight, im wondering if the entire plot to elden ring was written by AI. ive never been exposed to media before that gave me that totally uncanny feeling of something disjointed and half connected and so incoherency. i really think that maybe they used some kind of LLM to write this game. Thats my main gripe with elden ring. it has the bones to bean all time game, but theres no life in it. its totally void of anything human. a good story wouldve propelled it to the top tieridk maybe its because east asians are bugs and have no souls too
>>719986352And Naruto copied it from Halo, btw.
>>719989607The whole purpose of crafting is padding out rewards. So instead of actually finding a useful item you find a fraction of a useful item that you can later combine with several other fractions of a useful item. It's something Elden Ring has to resort to, much like reusing bosses, because the digital real estate is too big for the amount of gameplay the developers made.
>>719990282This cat isn't real. It's actually Photoshopped.
Whoah, I wonder how the girl would have reacted if the game was built around pussy penetration or anal.
>>719987530 Based taste, honestly. Nujabes always feels like sitting in a quiet train at night watching the city pass by-melancholic but comforting. Then you’ve got the 80s metal side that kicks your soul awake with every riff. A man of balance. You ever listen to stuff like Jesu or Alcest? They kind of straddle that line between aggression and serenity too.
>>719989396Never heard of them, but I'll give them a listen.
>Durr dis old game still goodI mean, just look at Lust's Cupid. It's fucking shit. Shit art style, shit ""story"", shit sound, furfaggotry(which looks abysmal). It has no oomph, complete cookie cutter garbage
>>719990259You say that like anything has surpassed VH
>>719985578Women are aware of this too. There's 2 ways they deal with it.The smart ones try to pin down a good man while they still have the beauty to do it, and coast off legal, social, and biological commitments to keep him loyal. The dumb ones waste their youth playing easy mode, and have to end up settling for a low value male when they grow too old for good men. It's sad to see. But don't let blackpillers convince you everyone is in the 2nd camp.
>26 years later >still hasn't been surpassed how did they do it?
>>719981383This isn't that kind of thread, pedophile
>>719975151It seems the prospect of proving yourself instinctually superior to a six year old has distracted you from the point being made, so I'll reiterate:Having to wait in real time for a chance to do something is often considered dogshit game design and it is usually a point of derision even when done on a much lesser scale. I'd like you to explain why you think time-gated events like the once a day swarm phone calls, waiting up to two days for the next bug-catching contest, possibly waiting up to a week for Lapras, and being forced to play the game at certain times of day to catch a certain mons is fun or engaging.
How come wild Pokemon give less EXP than trainers? This can make it so you’re screwed if you waste trainer EXP on a bad mon. Modern Pokemon was absolutely correct in giving you the new and improved EXP share that benefits the entire party.
>>719990034It makes the world feel real, like the people and Pokemon really are alive inside your cartridge. It makes sense that a ghost Pokemon would only come out at night, while birds would be most plentiful in the morning. It adds an element of mystery and adventure: you're talk to other trainers and hear rumors of strange growls from a rare Pokemon deep inside a cave that only appears on Fridays. People with imaginations read that and get a desire to explore the cave and see what they find.If you don't like it then that's fine, but that's why other people find it fun.

Loathsome games thread?
>>719986552I wonder. Played the demo and it was alright maybe. There's crafting, but it was very linear. You need to craft A and use it here, then you need to craft B and use it there, and so on.I faintly remember the English translation not being very good as well. This might've changed though. I think the demo was available before EA started.
Game is available in both. Where are u buying it?
>>719989919Who's conceding? Your platform is literally vanishing right before your eyes.
>>719989976Why even buy the Steam version when you could just pirate that too?
>>719980667Your access to online content can, and eventually will be, taken away. Case in point, Steam recently removing hundreds of games from the storefront due to pressure from payment processors. By having a local backup of your online purchases, you retain access to your digital property without relying on a third party. GOG doesn't need to offer anything more than that for it to reflect the greater value, at least so far as single-player games are concerned. Maybe you don't care enough about losing your games for any of that to matter, or more likely you're just a shill looking to muddy the waters talking about "forced bandwagons", but for me it's enough reason to buy my games from another storefront.
>>719990359Can you read? Genuine question.

Did you know that the first Uncharted game was designed by Yasuhara Hirokazu, lead designer of the original Sonic games? He worked with Naughty Dog all throughout the 00's.Uncharted 1 is by far the best in the series. The only people who dislike it are normalfags that enjoy Snoy movie "games" that play themselves which was innovated by Uncharted 2.Uncharted 1, in comparison, is an actual game and not just a scripted cinematic simulator like the rest of the series; there are barely any cutscenes in it and it has some decent gunplay. I also really like the vibe and the setting of the old abandoned Spaniard town in the Caribbean’s.
>>719985791yeah
So why doesn't Drake have the spindash in Uncharted 2?
>>719985791I really liked it as a PS3 game. The crumbing bridge segment right at the beginning was amazing for the time period. The mocap enemies were also. It was defeated by the starting pistol being super OP and the end game was really lame. But everything before that was legit very good. I don't know if it stands up to the test of time, because I just don't care to replay it. But I do know that I liked it a lot better than the 10 years of movie game bullshit that came after.
>>719985791I like its vibe the most, but I'm biased because I've always adored the "Spanish pirates" setting and U1 fits that moreso than U4 even. There's many parts of it where you can tell they still sort of had that PS2 platformer mentality, my go-to example is always that one climbing section in the jungle where you must jump from one pillar to the next across an area, and the camera angle, the awkward jumps, you wouldn't see it in any of the sequels but there's plenty of sections in U1 like it. Also its locations are a bit schizo, how you go from a jungle mainland to an island to a fortress to a sunken city to a jungle inland to a sunken city but now with a bike to a mini-citadel to undeground to a larger citadel... it's hard to explain but it repeats beats more than its sequels, which personally makes it feel like the setting is less window dressing and more cohesive, areas you revisit time and again even if from different angles. I definitely feel it's an underrated game as far as "Naughty Dog movie games" are concerned. Then again I also like 3 more than I do 2, and I think 4 is godawful.
>>719990128I last played it back in 2016 or so, and it already felt charmingly aged, much to my surprise. It felt more like a PS2 game than what we later came to associate with the PS3.Drake kills so many guys in that game! So many fat, shirtless guys in overalls with shotguns, dead by my hands...

Holy. shit.I'm *pretty* sure this means we're getting GTA 6 on the Switch 2. This thing is a beast
Star Wars Outlaws is a bad example because Ubisoft stuck Denuvo in it. Denuvo is factually the antithesis of performance, demonstrated by hundreds of videos across dozens of games. If you want to showcase, try finding a game that isn't using performance-ruining DRM, otherwise your message will always be doubted. You have plenty of other examples to pick from. Take Cyberpunk or something for a high end test.
>>719989856Dude you know damn well Denuvo isn't that heavy
>>719988910average 'eck user
>>719989856holy mother of cope. denuvo adds like 0.5% load the cpu, that's it.
>>719988685Power was never an issue. If Rockstar wanted to put GTA VI on Switch 2 they would find a way to do it even if Switch 2 had half the power it does now. With how gigantic the budget is expected to be, putting it on all platforms would be the best move. But then again, they are skipping PC on launch. Switch 2 version could also come at a later time if it comes out at all
You must pick only one. Which way, man of culture?
