When fighting bosses its like a crappy proto Xenoblade with you knocking enemies prone so you can all beat their ass. Outside of bosses it was just plain crappy with zero redeeming features.And then everything else was awful and I can't believe a whole game was wasted resolving JR and MOMO's plots I barely gave a fuck about. Saying this game gets good once you start going for high ranks is like saying DMC2 gets good once you start going for high ranks. Having arcade philosophies does not excuse cheap "gotcha" moments that stem from a camera that isn't zoomed out enough or bosses that guarantee at least one death as the player is given zero indication on how to beat them.
