I only beat Dark Phantom so far, but Star Force 2 has writing that just feels like the guy responsible just got some cliff notes of the first game. Like Geo's fear of ghosts is such an out-of-nowhere addition when there was a ghost in the first game that Geo wasn't scared of. But Crown Thunder was post-game only, so I could accept that not being canon. But then Geo says he didn't think anyone else could wave-change. Nearly every boss in the first game was a human who wave-changed. Why the fuck did he say that? If he at least put an anymore on the end of that, it would work. It would imply Cancer Bubble died or something, but it wouldn't be confusing.
