>>729508543With summonmancer you have to use iron maiden on bosses and keep summoning your clay golem. The boss will hit the golem and receive its own attack damage as damage to itself. Keep resummoning the golem, rinse and repeat. It's still annoying though. To my knowledge Project Diablo 2 solved this by allowing you to create a pile of bones or something, from which you can summon skeletons anywhere.

Having a clay golem to slow duriel and amplify damage should be enough to take him unless you're severely underleveled. The act 2 merc also buffs your skeletons with his aura so TP back to revive him if he dies too quickly, and try to keep duriel's attention on your golem.

The class doesn't matter as long as you fight with spells. If you do with an attack build you'll constantly have to worry about upgrading your weapon and melee defenses.The even better version of this is playing a summoner and they breeze through the standard game but be warned in these games they usually make bosses do extra damage to summons to balance it out so it usually doesn't work if you don't know what you are doing.

I like to play this game with a bunch of unnecessary overcomplicated mods that add janky classes that are almost certainly overpowered. At one point I had an old mod that added a necromancer class from before they added an official one so I just took both and had two entirely different types of skeleton running about.

Largely ignored by the executives until its success surprised them. What a shitshow it all is.Also interesting to note how Mistwalker's Fantasian plays like Final Fantasy too I guess. Excellent game by the way. But it's kind of telling that it for some reason isn't Square Enix making these games. And now E33 arrived to great success and won all the awards from all the critics. If Square Enix actually had any faith in Final Fantasy, like games like Bravely Default and Fantasian or whatever, whatever, Final Fantasy wouldn't be in such a sorry state that it is now, and no offence to E33, but Square Enix absolutely could have made a better FF than E33 if only they cared but they clearly don't.
Ultimately the games biggest failings was its lack of romance and coom bait. It had the perfect recipe, a comfy open world to drive around in and do random quests and dungeons, then it shit all over that by making the main party 3 gay dudes.The best parts of the game were when Iris joined the party and made it a 4 person team. If one of the gay dudes was replaced with Iris(bonus for the dragoon chick was well) and suddenly it becomes an 8/10.
