NOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUCK I knew they were going to ruin this for me somehow, she looked so cool with the mask and the closed eyes and then they finally make her playable and out of nowhere her eyes are open and she doesn't have a mask anymore. Seriously every time something does a closed eyes character they always fuck it up by having the character open their eyes at some point but up till now Columbina was one of the very few that actually kept them closed the whole time. Now that's over. I've always been autistic about this kind of thing because if they always keep the eyes closed you know that's just how their eyes look, but if they open them for some dramatic moment it's like, what do you mean you could have had your eyes open and normal looking the whole time and chose not to?I guess this confirms when they inevitably figure out a way to bring Capitano back he won't have the cool mask either, probably give him a new body where he's magically healed and just looks like your average handsome dude. diskrot is mostly a problem if you live in a tropical environment. decades of humidity and heat. the lifespan is double+ if you live in europe or northern usa. but it is true that all physical media will eventually degrade. it's not exactly a gotcha though because hard drives and ssds have a lifespan of 7-15 years. far less than discs. it being virtually impossible to rip 4k discs without obscure rolledback update specific drives will be and is a problem though. a lot of 4k media will become lost media at that quality/format.
