Mounts ruin open world. Mavuika is tremendously overpowered, she can traverse any terrain and if you are not a pleb and use her pogo tech she is both the fastest and the most durable. But the cost of making exploration less fun (yes, less fun, not more) killed the game for me and I guess many more. I've been playing Brighter Shores trying to chase that buzz that Runescape first gave me 22 fucking years ago.No luck.
Just finished Robocop Rogue CityI respect it for being old-school and I appreciated the accuracy and detail of the environments but honestly it wasn't fun to play. Some awesome moments here and there but it was mostly boring with too much talking, mundane quests and basic shooting mechanics. Not an awful game, I guess I just expected more from the gameplay.
