Because car culture is dead. Everything on the road now is the same boring, slow, plastic mom-mobile crossover and cars are increasingly becoming a luxury no one can afford. Zoomers are afraid of driving and most of them don't have a license and will never get one of they can help it. Increasingly stringent safety and emissions standards cramming more intrusive bullshit into cars plus traffic that seemingly gets worse by the day mean that driving is a boring, frustrating chore. Cars and driving just aren't fun anymore.
