This DLC has completely changed the way I view medieval Europe.
It looks like a backwards shithole compared to China.

Same. This DLC pretty much convinced me Europe is just a peninsula of Asia like Jeetdia.
>>
>>728972176
>didn't bother
You mean invaded, and failed, and still hung out for centuries in the backwaters of Europe which were the only places they could conquer.
>nooo they all went back after failing horribly
No, they were still there in Russia centuries later. Russia was valuable enough to keep and there ain't shit there. Your nonsense is false.
>noooo but China was so great it was the best it had to be!
The only relevance China had in all of history was being the place silk came from. That's it. Reminder, the huge economical zone was all about raw natural resources being extracted from China (silk) and being transported to civilization (Europe) and that one simple interaction was enough to sustain the entire middle east on its route.
>>
>>728972007
That’s a meme. The Andaman Islands were known to be violent way before the British, even Marco Polo mentions it. Most tribes, like the Jarawa and the Onge, were just like the sentinelese until they decided not to kill foreigners (and then promptly died off from disease lmao)
>>
>>728953198
Cool it with the antisemitic remarks
>>
>>728943345
But that's just the fault of Paradox's development patterns. If they made a game and started from China, it would be the most boring lifeless part of the map and wherever the last big DLC was set would be the most interesting instead.

Also it's not like China is as big a contender for most complex in EU4 and HOI4 so that kinda disproves your point.

Why do I suck so much at this game...? What am I doing so wrong? This is the easiest difficult and I can't even get past the first skull of the health bar.

Did you also struggle to enjoy videogames as you got older?

What does it have to do with videogames?

>serviceable gunplay, but not that fun nor interesting
>serviceable maps, but not that fun nor interesting
>serviceable driving, but not that fun nor interesting
>serviceable combat, certainly barebones and boring as fuck
>serviceable sountrack, but not original, just threw a bunch of popular songs and called it a day
>serviceable plots, but not that interesting to the point most people barely give it a second thought
The most mid franchise of all time. The closest gaming has ever been to the phrase "jack of all trades, master of none". There's NOTHING outstanding about these games.

The best one is the IV era of GTA because they were actually putting effort into their games from IV to CTW. But unfortunetly, all of that got wasted because the GTA fandom is made up of retards who buy low effort slop like GTA V.
>>
>>728972137
I like GTA for the comedy and IV was alright in that area. I don't if it was intentional, but doing a helicopter ride with Brucie in front of a building saying "get a life" made me chuckle and also close the game to go outside. Really funny stuff.

Gunplay in GTA didn't get good until IV, but was very passable on the PSP games.

I suppose the usual "greener grass" side of having someone to talk to?
I don't know. It's just when I have something to drink, I tend to reflect on how how my autism sabotaged my social life. I've had 2 real friends my entire life; one moved to a different part of the country in middle school, another died of a drug overdose in 2019. I have no friends, I've never had anything close to girlfriend, no job, no real education or prospects. Having a a few glasses really bring these things to the surface, whereas they are usually suppressed for fear of having to confront the shitshow that i've made of my life.
Knowing someone reads my drunken rants brings me some comfort though. so if you're reading this bullshit, thanks.

>make AssCreed game in Sengoku Japan
>one protagonist is an OC Iga Ikki ninja trying to get revenge for her clan
>another protagonist is a historical character Yasuke who was vaguely involved with the destruction of her clan
>Yasuke was part of the entourage of a samurai lord, received a samurai's reward (stipend), carried the weapons of a samurai, and by all regards would be seen as another samurai goon of Nobunaga, but confused anachronistic storylets in Japan and "rightwing SJWs" in the west throw a fit when he is confused with a samurai in a time period where being a samurai was not a big deal (and when a literal rice farming peasant like Hideyoshi could become samurai and achieve Shogun status)
>mediocre game but with good graphics and good visuals get brutally taken down, treated by Youtube grifters like it is the second coming of Snow White (their hyperfocus since it is such a low-hanging fruit that midwits love to watch it being torn apart)
>said Youtube grifters would come to praise Clair Obscur ExpeditionGPT months later, which has less roleplaying than the freaking AssCreed game released months prior and brutally taken down by them

AssCreed Shadows sold very well in Europe and was their #1 game for a while, but it tanked in America and Japan. Congressmen in Japan spoke against anti-japanese portrayals, citing footage of Yasuke brutally destroying Takeshi's property, then cutting his neck.

They're decent, worth playing if you've already played the classic LoZ games and want more.

There're romhacks out there that convert the games to traditional controls which made them less of a chore.

Phantom Hourglass had a lot I didn't like, but it also had some great items and good new ideas. Spirit Tracks feels like a more polished followup and is unironically one of my favorite Zeldas despite hating touch controls, but it still has qualities that tend to filter people beyond that.
Touch controls suck, but I'd still recommend at least trying both.

>>728967189
Otherwise great games made mediocre due to the retarded decision to make controls touch only rather than optional. There were other retarded gimmicks too (blowing on the mic and closing the screen) but neither have the magnitude of the touch controls.

On a side note, the online multiplayer in phantom hourglass was one of the most rage inducing games ever. I loved it

Though frankly, this is one of the better SCUMM classic Lucasfilm games; if you have any interest, go and play it yourself. It plays on modern hardware with any recent version on Steam, GOG etc. You'll get more out of it playing it yourself and as far as guides its... well, up to how much you know about this era's adventuire games.
